I love making 3D boxes and the ability to adapt a project using cutting files in the Pazzles Craft Room with my InVue software.
For my Easter Egg Box, I am using the Cookie Box in the Pazzles Library which I have resized to make a large box. I added an insert inside, to hold my chocolate Easter Eggs. I measured the size of aperture I needed, then used the multiply tool, and adjusted the distance between them. See here for further instructions on how to use the Multiply Tool.
I created the main body of my box using kraft cardstock to give it strength. I then created panels so that I could use my patterned papers to make it look pretty! To give extra dimension, I inked around all the edges of all my patterned papers, before I adhered them onto the base of the box. I secured a piece of acetate behind the fancy frame window and added my embellishments.
I like the concept of the insert, which could be adjusted to hold lipstick, mini cakes, Pazzles tools……. There are so many possibilities.
