For several years we have celebrated the Christmas season with you by doing a series of 12 projects based on a theme. Two years ago we did the 12 Tags of Christmas and last year we did the 12 Ornaments of Christmas. Make sure to check out those projects because they are still just as awesome as the day they were posted! This year we really wanted to “wow” you with our 12 days of Christmas project series. After much debate we settled on doing the 12 BOXES of Christmas. We know how much you love dimensionals and we also know that they can be pretty intimidating to make. So let us help you out this season with 12 boxes that will leave your guests and recipients “ooing” and “awwing” all the way in to next year!
I really can’t wait to show you all the amazing boxes we have in store. Make sure to check back every day as we will be posting a new box every day! Now let’s get things started with this beautiful four compartment gift basket. This gift basket is so sturdy that you will be amazed at what a great accent it adds to your decorations. Add dry flowers or other pretty items and have a beautiful centerpiece or add candy, cookies and other goodies to deliver to friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc.
Here are is the recipe and cutting file for this project but you can only get it if you are a Craft Room member!! If you aren’t a Craft Room member now is a great time to join so you can get all 12 boxes and participate in our challenge to win great prizes!

Clever and beautiful Klo! And you’re right about our love for dimension. I particularly enjoy making homemade boxes and books, and have a nice stash of colored binder rings.
Thank you for this gorgeous Christmas treat-box! I’ve been crazy busy lately but I’m looking forward to the next eleven days.

I already know what I am going to do with several of these….collect various colors of die cuts. I never waste the paper after cutting…always cut out die cuts that I put into boxes…and that system isn’t working so well. This will be perfect. I will put the color in the front and make two of these! Thanks, Klo…you just organized my scraps!

Love the idea of boxes. Boxes are my favourite thing to make as you can dress them up as much as you want. I never have time to design them myself so I am looking forward to this collection. Thanks for the 1st one, it is gorgeous!

I used these boxes for centerpieces and a smaller version for candy at my daughter-in-laws bridal shower. They were a huge hit.

Is anyone else having a hard time cutting this out? My pazzle will do the the fold lines just fine but when I try to move onto the other cuts it won’t cut at all. Is anyone else having this problem??

Kris, Don’t forget to move the other pieces into the cut area. (the big black box) Let me know if that works.

On the base of the box, it is cutting the hash marks and then it is cutting a line right over top of it. What am I doing wrong?
December 13th, 2011 at 9:29 am
Cindy,
Do you mean it is cutting over the top of the hash marks? Or is it cutting across the page?
December 13th, 2011 at 11:53 am
It is cutting the hash marks and then it cuts a line right over the hash marks across the page.

Cindy,
That sounds like you need to do the update. That issue was taken care of in the update. Here is the link http://pazzles.com/support/electronic-cutters/inspiration/
