Blade and Blade Holder Reference Guide

I love a quick reference guide, and I have no doubt you do too. It’s a great way to have all the same relevant information in one location to quickly check and make sure you’re on the right track. So I have put together this quick reference guide for all of the questions that you may have about your blade holder and blades. This is a great resource for those that are just getting started using your Creative Cutter Inspiration. Please read the brief caption under each link that will take you to a blog that talks about things ranging from, “when to change your blade” to “Pressure and blade length settings”. I hope that this quick reference guide for your blades and blade holder is beneficial to all of our Inspiration users!

Feathered Paper
Have you started cutting your most recent project and found that your cuts aren’t as clean as they used to be?

Cleaning Your Blade Holder
When your Inspiration is cutting through papers, especially more fibrous ones, the paper will shed small fibers as the blade is working through it. That’s why it’s important to check your blade for paper build up.

When it’s Time to Change Your Blade
After increasing your pressure settings you still find that your edges are feathered. This will help you determine if it’s time to change your blade.

Do you think you could put all of the above topics in a downloadable .pdf like the ‘recipes’ for special projects? I love all of the above, and it would be great to save the instructions on all of the above in a document I could save and have on my computer for reference… Thanks for posting these tips.
