Nothing says I love you like chocolate, and the more chocolate, the better! With that in mind, I made a love pocket gift that holds an extra-large chocolate bar to really show my love for someone special.
This project started with two ‘Pocket’ Canvas Shapes from Canvas Corp and some baker’s twine. I threaded the twine through a needle and stitched the two canvas shapes together to form a pocket. Using the Love U Tag file from the Craft Room Library, I cut the U cutout and the heart pieces from patterned paper.
I pulled out the P K Glitz Glitter in Burgundy and the WonderFilm sheets from our latest Crafty Shopper Special and used them to make a glittery love sentiment. This is easily achieved by adhering one side of the WonderFilm double sided adhesive to cardstock, cutting the sentiment out on the Inspiration, peeling the adhesive off of the other side and applying the glitter. This glitter is very fine and sticks nicely to the adhesive sheets.
Once all my pieces were cut and prepped, I used Zip Dry to adhere my papers to the canvas banner pocket and tucked my chocolate inside.
