Are you ready, Atlanta, Georgia!! Pazzles is coming to your town September 6-8, 2013. (Can I get a Whoop! Whoop!)
Join us for a fun- and fact-filled weekend where Klo and I will teach you all kinds of amazing techniques that you can do with your Pazzles Inspiration. There will be projects, goody bags, and door prizes galore. The room is large enough that there will be a cropping area and a class area. You will be able to set up your machine and supplies and leave it there all weekend!
We have reserved a block of rooms so be sure to check the cut off date. You don’t want to miss the great price we have negotiated for you. A buffet breakfast is included and Pazzles is providing lunch on Friday and Saturday.
Please Note:
- • In order to make it easier to teach everyone we require Pazzles Inspiration Studio Pro software. If you do not own it already, you can purchase it when you register.
- • A payment plan is available- please see the registration form. (Registration information is below the video link.)
- • The retreat is for intermediate and advanced learners. We will not be reviewing beginner basics. In order to get the most benefit from the classes you should brush up on your skills. Please watch the video below, What to Know Before You Go.
- • We are asking everyone to take the Are You Ready for a Retreat? test that is posted online. This will tell you what you are expected to know before you come to the retreat. (You are not required to pass the test before coming but we will not be reviewing these skills in class.) Click here to take the test and type in PAZZLES (all caps) for the password. Hapeville is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States, located directly adjacent to the city of Atlanta. The Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL) is located just 1.9 miles away. The hotel is located near Interstate 285 as well as a Interstate 75.
Dates and Times
Check in begins Friday, September 6 at 11 am. Lunch will be served at noon. The first session will be at 1 pm. The retreat ends at 1 pm on Sunday, September 8.
Registration
Craft Room members have priority registration until May 15, 2013. (Free Forums-Only members do not qualify as Craft Room members.) After that date the registration is open to all Pazzles customers. If you are a non-member and try to register before the non-member date your registration will be deleted so please respect the dates.
Course Requirements
The course content will be Intermediate to Advanced in skill level. Beginning skills will not be covered in class. Please Note!! Inspiration Studio Pro 2010 software (or Funtime 2010) is required. Please bring your laptop computer with the software installed and your Inspiration or Pro Creative Cutter.
Registration Fees
If you already own the Inspiration Studio Pro (or Funtime 2010) software:
- $350.00 if paid in advance.
- Note: This includes the $100.00 non-refundable deposit.
or
- $ 370.00 in 4 installments:
- $100 at registration.
- $100 due July 10, 2013.
- $100 due August 5, 2013.
- $70 due September 1, 2013.
- Note: This includes the $100.00 non-refundable deposit

Your registration will include the Pro 2010 software at a significant discount.

Refund Policy:
- • 22+ days prior to retreat: Full refund minus $100.00 registration deposit and cost of software if purchased.
- • 21 days or less prior to retreat: no refund.
- • If you have a medical reason past the 21 day limit, we will offer you a credit towards another retreat.
Pazzles Store
For your convenience there will be a small Pazzles store on site. Shop while at the retreat and save on shipping!
Supplies
Project materials, instructions and cutting files will be provided as part of the retreat fee. However you should bring the following basic supplies:
- • Required: A laptop computer is required and we strongly recommend you bring your Creative Cutter.
- • Your favorite adhesive
- • Scissors and a trimmer
- • Cardstock in neutral colors for card and page bases.
- • If you are bringing your Inspiration, be sure to have a good blade and mat.
There will be opportunity to work on your class projects in the afternoon and evenings. You are encouraged to bring your favorite embellishing supplies and pens to make the projects uniquely your own.

Meals

Woohoo! Not as FAB-u-lous as a cruise but it will be just as fun!!
The what to bring list doesn’t mention that we need to bring our laptops as well as our Pazzles machine. Will you have computers for us to use or should we add that to the “what to bring”?
I went to the Chicago retreat last year and it was amazing. Really wish I could attend this one too! Everyone will walk away completely overwhelmed (in a good way) and inspired. Have fun and enjoy.

Yes a laptop computer is necessary and your Inspiration cutter is recommended so that you will be able to create the projects.

I took the test, but didn’t receive a score yet. Are the scores emailed to us after they are tallied? It seems like it was Thursday that I took it. Whatever day this was announced.

On the registration page under the hotel information there is a line that says “Call to reserve: 1-703-961-8160 please reference the Pazzles Workshop/Retreat room block”. That phone number is not correct for this hotel. The number given at the top of the hotel info is but this one is not. Also, when I tried to reserve a room she couldn’t find a block of rooms for Pazzles so either I got someone who doesn’t know what she is doing or there is a problem.

Will there be any midwest retreats or another cruise in 2013 or 2014? I would love to send my daughter.
So, September is a LONG way away and I am terrified to take that blasted test for fear you won’t let me come! Went to the retreat in Chicago last year and totally enjoyed it. Will be in Atlanta (and I will take the test!)but we need frequent tidbits to keep us appeased between now and September. Please!
I look forward to seeing all the attendees and the chance to see Christine and Klo once again. Is there anything we can do in advance even just for the fun of it for the retreat? More than willing to do whatever is needed.

Yes, your attendance will count towards the number of attendees we need to go.
Linn, DO NOT stress about the test. You have attended a retreat already, so we know you have the base you need for this retreat.
I work in Atlanta, but can’t get Friday off, can I arrive Friday night & still be okay, if so is the price different.
Jenni, you certainly can join us on Friday evening. We will make sure you get the class kits and instructions for the classes you miss. You can also get up to speed during the breaks. Klo and I always repeat a concept several times.
Unfortunately our fixed costs don’t allow us to have an adjusted fee.
I purchased the Pazzel Inspiration at the recent Expro in Duluth, GA haven’t received it yet. However, once the machine and software arrive do you feel it is possible to get famliar enough with it to attend this event? Plus this event is only a few hours from me. Thank you, Anne
Anne – even if things do not work out, start watching the videos now and start with the basics – it helped me tremendously. I took notes and then watched them again. So much available on this site but you have to take the time to learn it. I am working on year 3 and I learn something new every time!
