During the summer months it is a joy to spend time in the sunshine and take a picnic into the countryside. Recently, I saw this Summer Picnic Basket in the Craft Room Project listings where Tatum had showed us a technique of coloring the basket using the Copic Airbrush System. Unfortunately, I don’t have any Copic Markers, but I adore this Picnic Basket, so I thought I could use my patterned papers to give a totally different look to the cutting file.
The tricky part was to decide which pattered papers coordinated well together…… always my dilemma! I used Core’dinations cardstock inside the box to give it more strength.
I used some paper flowers and a string of pearls to embellish the Picnic Box. Finally, I added a Dimensional Bow from the Craft Room Library and some self adhesive pearls to the center, to make my own embellishment.
