Ornament Shaped Card

Christmas-Ornament-JW

I recently added the NEW pen tool to my collection of Pazzles tools.  I have got to say that I love the flexibility of using lots of different sized pens of all shapes and sizes. So, I thought I would have a try at creating my own word circle sentiment.

I used a simple Christmas Ornament file to create the base of my shaped card which I cut out of red cardstock and layered with patterned paper. (See Making Shaped Cards video tutorial).

I then made my circle sentiment having watched the Fitting Text To Shapes or Lines video tutorial using my black pen. I created a simple rosette using a file found in the Rosettes And Swags Tutorial in the Craft Room. Finally I added a bow and decorative rhinestone.
