Puzzle Piece Valentine

Joanna here, bringing you my latest Design Team project with a Valentine theme. I found a Heart Puzzle Piece file in the Pazzles Craft Room which I altered slightly, to enable me to fit all my elements onto the puzzle piece. I simply straightened the bottom edge of the puzzle using the Replace by Segment tool.

I cut out the base layer using Kraft Card and then layered some pretty pink patterned paper. I typed out my ‘LOVE’ sentiment, cut it out of Kraft Card and adhered it to my design following the curve of the puzzle. I also cut out some hearts using some coordinating papers from the Handful of Hearts cutting file. I then trimmed some letters from the edge of my patterned paper and arranged the word ‘pieces’ in a metal frame.

Finally, I had fun arranging my embellishments and added a bit of doodling around the edge of the puzzle piece.
