Floating Butterfly Rainbow Card

Hello Pazzle Friends! Melinda here with you today to share a super fun and easy card. Let’s get started. I was inspired by a Pinterest card I saw and decided….hey I can do that with my Pazzles. No fuss no muss, so I went ahead and designed the pretty little butterfly and then added it to my mat. I simply laid out all of the butterflies the way I wanted them. When I was satisfied with that I simply went through and “deleted” the heads and tails, leaving the wing cuts. I proceeded to cut my mat out and then ran it through one of my embossing folders for a little texture.

Next, I used a piece of scratch cardstock and Penciled in very lightly where the wings were. I then colored in the “spots” with my various colored markers. I then adhered that piece to the back of my “butterfly mat”. Next I cut out a couple of labels, and then stamped my sentiment. I used some twine to give it just a little bit of “something extra” and a couple of pearls. I adhered the sentiment with some foam tape. Next, I used a bit of liquid pearls and added a few pearl dots to the centers of each of the butterflies. I then adhered the butterfly mat to the pretty yellow patterned paper from the Craft Smith Painted Posies Paper pad and then adhered that to my kraft cardstock base.

That’s it…super quick and easy! The perfect little card to let someone know how much you love them! I’ve included the files below for you.
