I have always loved mini albums, but I haven’t felt I could do them. There always seemed to be so much in them and I didn’t think I had the creativity to put all those pieces and things together, so I just avoided doing them. Well, I really started thinking about it and realized that maybe I wasn’t the only one avoiding doing a mini album for the same reason, so I set out to create a simple, yet creative album that would showcase the photos and the story I really wanted to tell.
This album is titled, “10 Things I Love About You.”. Although I did this up in a masculine color scheme with some simple mats, tags and embellishments, it could easily be changed to any other color scheme. Don’t limit yourself! The Pazzles Craft Room library is full of images to help you customize your album for that special person.
For the tabs, I did put all the wording on there for you. Of course, you can change that if you prefer. For the ‘things’ embellishments you will notice that they are all blank. This is because the things you love about your special someone will be completely different from mine. I chose a very thin Matilde True Type font to use, but there is a wonderful list of font suggestions here as well, with links. Depending on how small you choose for your writing and the thickness of the nib of your pen, you can get varying results, so doing a couple of test pieces are a great idea.
I have really enjoyed creating this simple mini album and now I’m excited to try a few more. I hope you have fun creating one for your special someone.

This is just perfect Klo. I am daunted by mini albums but you could add your thoughts and photos over the years to make a treasured gift.
