12 Months of Memories: December

12 Memories of Christmas: December made with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

I love the winter holidays. This layout will work well for the December page of my calendar, with its large, lacy snowflake, frilly 3D layered snowflakes, and Breezy Swirl that I found in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.

I resized one snowflake to about 11”, and cut from American Crafts Specialty Pearl paper  to fit the printed 12”x12” background paper, and added a contour outline using a pink sheet from the same DCWV  Luxury Pack  to serve as a mat. I created a 7” circle for the red center of the layout using the Circle tool in the Pazzles InVue software, welded the two swirls to the circle, and placed the cut shape over the large snowflake.

The birds, frames, and Month title were cut from a single 8.5”x11” piece of black paper, and layered over the red circle.  I will place my December family photos in the centers of the frames. For now, there are pieces of white paper holding the places for the photos.  I cut the smaller snowflakes from red, silver, and white papers, curled the ends of the snowflakes a bit, and glued them in a stack by adding a bit of glue at the center back of each snowflake.
