15 Minute Projects

Quick and easy projects using images from the Craft Room Library

What’s the time Mr. Wolf?

Back to school is such a frantic time of year for the children and for parents, but exciting too. Do you have young ones who are learning to tell the time? If so, this project is perfect for them, and for the older children who may need to practice their time telling skills. With a bit of out of the box thinking, this pretty ‘floral’ clock complete with leaves for the minute and hour hands will be a fun way to help your kids tell the time.

School Ride Layout

Hey crafty friends, Melinda here with you today. I am sharing a fun school layout I recently made. I used a few of the fun files from the craft room.  I used some fun papers from the paper studio dots and stripes paper pad. I used a couple of stamps and added a button and some twine to finish it off. It came together very easily. I used the file following files.

Scalloped Deco Edge Card

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today sharing a super easy and pretty card. I created this with the craft room file, scalloped deco edge card.

Family Layout

This summer we were able to get all of my children together at one time in one place for the first time in thirteen years. So of course, I had to make sure that I got a photographer out to take photos of all of use together. I could hardly wait to get them on pages and into my scrapbook and on to my walls.

Candle Wraps

Candles are such a beautiful addition to a table setting or as home décor pieces, and what better way to jazz up your next dinner party than to quickly whip up your own candle decoration to sit your flameless candles in?

Lunchbox Animal Treats

Being a little kid is so magical. Everything is so exciting and every day is the best day ever. Even the smallest things make a little one so happy and it's so fun to be the cause of so much happiness and excitement. So join in on the fun and make up a batch of applesauce animals. Stick these in a sack lunch or deliver them to preschool on a platter and you are sure to get some great big gasps and lots of hugs of appreciation.

Crafting with Kids: Bookmarks

“Muuuummmm! I’m bored!” Is this something you’re hearing a lot at the moment with the children on summer break or on the weekends? A quick virtual trip to the Pazzles Craft Room Library could turn the nagging into some constructive, (and creative) time by cutting out some cute animal friends to turn into bookmarks. You could cut out a group of them and the children can do the assembly work and make some for their friends.

Let’s Get Away Beach Card

It seems like the first half of the summer break goes slowly and the last half is over in just a blink of an eye. After the 4th of July celebrations, come most of the birthdays in my family and my wedding anniversary. The month flies by and then it's time to get ready for back to school. I really need a vacation somewhere in there, so I made my husband this wedding anniversary card. Do you think this will be a clear enough hint for him that we need a vacation? I'm hoping he sees through the cuteness of the card to the real meaning behind it! And if not, I'll take matters into my own hands.

Making Rosettes and Swags

This rosette tutorial was posted several years ago in the Craft Room and although it's an oldie, it's a goodie. These rosette fans are super popular right now and make great affordable 4th of July decorations. Watch the video, then grab the cutting files and make up a bunch of your own. ~Michelle Lately I have been spending a lot of time looking in Scrapbook magazines, stores, online shops and company catalogs. Everywhere I turn I see rosettes and it isn’t hard to know why. They just “feel” happy! You can buy them premade, invest in a pricey die with only one size option OR….of course, you can use your fabulous Inspiration to cut them in a multitude of colors, shapes and sizes. I’ll let you decide which sounds more economical, more versatile and more individualized.

Father's Day Snack Pack Gift

Dad’s Day Snack Pack

It's a scientific fact that men like snacks. This is based on my own research and observations of the 10-12 men I spend the most time with, so it must be true on a larger scale.

Donut Cards Project Pattern

This is a cute project specifically created for dieting bakers. If that's you, you're welcome! Now you can "bake up a storm" and still stay on your diet. Make as many donut cards as you'd like and you won't gain a pound. After you've made a dozen different donuts, then tuck them into the donut box for safe keeping.
