The Chicago retreat is just 2 weeks away. Windy City here we come!! Are you excited? Have you already started packing? Maybe you didn’t realize how close the time was getting. OR maybe you are just a little nervous? Are you afraid you won’t know what everyone else does? Don’t worry, the retreat is going to be a WONDERFUL experience!

Whoa don’t panic! We are NOT shutting down the image library with downloadable images at the Pazzles Craft Room. So what is the Image Center? The Image Center is a feature of our original version of Pazzles.com where members could purchase credits and buy images individually. However this image center has slowly become more and more obsolete with the introduction of our new library here at the Craft Room. So we have decided it is time to retire the Image Center. The Image Center will be shut down on May 31st, 2012.

Wow!! The Dallas retreat is less than 2 weeks away!! Are you ready? There are a few spots left for the Dallas retreat so if you were thinking of signing up you should act fast. We will need to pack and ship supplies soon so will close registration in a few days.

The hotel is a beautiful facility and we are sure to be pampered while there. If you have not gotten your room yet be sure to call in right away. You don’t want to arrive on the day of the retreat and not have a place to stay. Even if you live close by, you might want to stay at the hotel so that you can fully enjoy the companionship and fun with the other ladies attending.

Do you remember making colored Easter eggs as a child? It seemed like magic when you dipped the white egg into the colored water. I especially loved mixing colors to see what I would get. As an adult I realized how much patience my mother had; egg coloring can be messy! I tried to follow her example with my own children and we decorated eggs well into their teen years. Now it is my grandchildren’s turn to discover the magic.

All over the country, kids are celebrating the Birthday of Dr. Seuss. We have been enjoying his books since I was a little girl- which is a REALLY long time ago! The first book I ever read was ‘Green Eggs and Ham’. I also have fond memories of reading his silly rhyming books with our kids before bed. (Although, I have to admit that some of them didn’t really settle the kids down to sleep!) My grandkids could dress up like Dr. Seuss characters for school today and I was, of course, thrilled when my daughter asked me to help with the costumes.
