One Sheet Wonder Card Set

One Sheet Wonder Cards

I've always loved to find ways to use up every part of a piece of paper.  The One Sheet Wonder concept is one that I absolutely LOVE, not just because they look fabulous, but because it is so inexpensive and they look fabulous.  I was able to quickly and easily create these 8 cards (and still have enough to make another 3-4 cards).  I purposely did not add any additional embellishments other than a sentiment.  It would be so easy to add buttons, ribbons or any other embellishment if you wanted to add a little more pizazz.

Mouse Birthday Card

Did you know that the InVue software has built in templates for card making? If you have not looked at these templates you are missing out on some good resources for quickly creating a card. Here is a video to show you more about the Document Templates. I have created a quick 15 minute project for you.

Dads grads and babies pullout cards

Dads, Grads, and Babies Pull ...

Today's project is something totally different and fun and I hope you'll love it. Watching the recipient pull this card out of the envelope is so much fun and I can guarantee your card will be the most unique and most impressive.  I've created three versions of this card for upcoming occasions: Graduation, Father's Day, and the birth of a new baby. If the three designs I've provided don't suit you, you can use any of the images in the Craft Room Library to create your own using the same idea. Now on to assembly. I didn't include directions because they are so easy to assemble. Each piece has a matching silhouette.

Baby’s First Christmas Layout

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today. It is my turn to share here in the Craft Room and well, as I thought about what I wanted to make....I just couldn't let the holiday season go by without making a scrapbook layout! Yep, the whole reason I got into paper crafting, was to scrapbook. A friend asked me to make a layout for a baby book she is working on and I thought this would be the perfect layout to capture the little baby boy's first Christmas.

Pretty Birthday Card

Hi guys! It’s Belle here today sharing with you my version of Melin's PCW double square shaped with flowers card. I haven't done many cards lately so it was nice to get back into it. This card packs a punch with it's beautiful latticework and curved edges. Anyone would feel special receiving this card.

Shaped Pocket Cards and Tags Cutting Files

Shaped Pocket Cards and Tags

Pick a pocket and stuff it full of love, well wishes and maybe even a gift card or cash. These cards look fancy, but are very easy to make. Cut them out with three cuts and assemble them, or dress them up with embellishments. When your card is finished, they tuck inside a #10 envelope. I've included a file for the envelope liner which simply slips inside.

Spring is in the Air ...

The days are getting lighter, the bulbs are beginning to flower in the garden and “Spring is in the Air". One of my favorite flowers are daffodils. They somehow mark the beginning of Spring. For my Design Team project today, I have made a planter to sit on my kitchen window. I resized the daffodils from the Build a Bouquet : Daffodil cutting file in the Pazzles Craft Room. I have also used the Berry Basket, but deleted the middle aperture sections to create my planter.

Star Shaped Gift Box

Star Shaped Baby Gift Box

Joanna here again, with a Star Shaped Gift Box. For those of you familiar with my projects you will know that I love making Print and Cut projects as well as 3D items. There are several colleagues at work who are expecting babies and these days they seemed to be so well prepared before the birth, and let everyone know the sex of the baby. Selfishly, this helps enormously when making new born gifts. The Star Shaped Gift Box is a simple cutting file, but I love the depth of the box and how the base of the box is cut out of one piece of paper. I cut the base of my box using Kraft cardstock to give it more strength. This enabled me to indulge in my pretty pink papers for the top of the box.

Baby Room Decor

String Lights Banner

I recently helped host a baby shower. I wanted something that helped showcase baby’s gifts and came up with this string lights banner. I wanted to use a thin font that had extra details and pieces that I wouldn’t typically use for paper crafting, yet the font worked like a charm using vinyl! I used some scraps of ribbon in an assortment of colors, and tied them along the string of lights. I think it turned out cute, and was a great way to “light” up the special day.

Project Patterns Baby Layout

Pazzles Project Pattern: Baby Layout

One of the cool new features in the InVue software is our new Pazzles Project Patterns. You have to see this in action to understand the full possibilities, but let me assure you-it is awesome! The InVue software comes with four Project Patterns and we will be adding more each month. Essentially you open a Project Pattern and you see a sketch (layout or card). Several pieces of the sketch are "replaceable". You click on the replaceable shape and then select a predesigned coordinating image from a drop down menu. The image automatically replaces the selected shape and resizes the new shape to fit perfectly. Here is an idea of what can be done. When you open the project it will look like this:

Mini Baby Album

Baby Mini Album

It's been a while since my babies were actual babies, but I get invited to lots of baby showers. I love to celebrate babies, and I love to tuck something handmade in with my gift. This mini album makes the perfect little something and can be customized in so many ways. Add a picture each month for baby's first year and give it to grandma for a brag book, or keep it as a memento for yourself. Switch it up and create only nine of the pages, so the mom to be can document her growing belly month by month. The mini album set includes tabbed pages and numbers up to 12 to add to the tabs. The Craft Room is full of baby themed cutting files, but I've included just a few more to use while embellishing the album. There is no right or wrong way to decorate this, just adjust it to fit your needs and have fun decorating each page.

Baby Shower Frog Gift Box

Baby Frog Gift Card Box

Gift cards are great for baby showers, as this allows for the mom to be to buy exactly what she needs. I thought it would be a great idea to dress up a packaging box I had saved. I used the Baby Frog, Ribbon Slot Borders and Scallop Mat files which can all be found in the Craft Room Library. Tuck cash or gift card inside this gift card box and you are ready to go.

Baby Bootie Shower Favors

I used the cute little baby bootie file from the CD51: Party CD to create the adorable bootie favors. I used some Die Cuts With A View papers from the baby girl stack. I simply added some lace and pearls around the bottom and a pretty flower with gem for the "snap". I filled it with some candy kisses and they were ready to go! For my hot air balloon favor, I used the free Berry Basket file for the base. I hot glued two bamboo skewers and then inserted them into the balloon. The balloon is from the On the Move Hot Air Balloon file.

Baby Week: Baby Shower Banner ...

I hope you are enjoying celebrating babies here at Pazzles. The cuteness is limitless! I have used the Dimensional Bow from the Craft Room to create a darling pink banner to welcome a baby girl. At first I was going to use only one layer for the bows. I was worried that the bows would come out too big, but I am glad I used other layers. So Cute! You can always change the size, but I went with the imported size. This file is so easy to use. You will want to make extra bows to spread throughout the room! In the center of the banner, I have used the Onesie file from the Craft Room to announce the baby’s sex. It is strung together with a coordinating, but bright, hemp string.

Baby Shower Wreath

Baby Week: Baby Shower Decoration

This wreath will welcome your guests as they arrive to your baby shower. It will set the tone and get your guests excited before the baby shower even starts! Once all your guests arrive you can move your wreath inside and use it for an indoor baby shower decoration too! It can easily be changed from girl to boy with just a little tweaking. Instructions: I cut about 130 3.25 inch circles. Yes, I know this sounds like a lot but it goes super-fast using your Pazzles Creative Cutter! I used a 90 year old music book for mine but you can buy a cheap book at a thrift store, use printed scrapbooking paper, print your own on your printer or just buy colored copy paper. I think it would be precious to use an old nursery rhyme book. *NOTE: The paper you use for the circles needs to be the thickness of copy paper or the pages of a book. You don’t want to use cardstock for this project. The paper needs to be flexible as you are gluing them very close together and cardstock creases easily, giving your wreath a more angular look. Instead, we are going for a softer feel since it is for a baby shower.

Baby Shower Rattle Invitation

Baby Week: Baby Rattle Shower ...

It’s Baby Week and who doesn’t love babies? So for you I have created a shower invitation using the Baby Rattle file. The first thing I did was to resize it to fit in a standard invitation envelope. I then added two circles, one for the front and one for the back. The front one was for information (i.e. who, when, rsvp) which I did with the Pazzles Pen Tool. I used Edwardian script font and then hand wrote the information, but you could do the whole thing with the Pen Tool. The back circle was for decorative paper. I added some inking and a bow and it turned out great. It's very simple and very fast. You could do a lot of these in no time at all and you can get six out of one piece of 12" x 12" cardstock. Tip: make sure you make an extra one for the mom to keep in the baby book.

Baby Week: Onesie Shower Invitations

Hello fellow crafters, Joanna here today highlighting some Baby Shower printables using Print and Cut with your Pazzles. I thought I would share with you how versatile using the Print and Cut technique with your Pazzles can be to create even more creativity. You could of course paper piece some of the elements such as the onesie with your favorite papers. However, when sending out invitations in bulk it is easier and quicker to Print and Cut them. There is an excellent video tutorial How To Use Cutting Files for Print and Cut which will give you step by step instructions.

Umbrella-Favors-SQR

Paper Umbrella Shower Favors

This project is perfectly suited for today, because it is pouring rain outside in Kuna, Idaho. While these are intended for a bridal shower or baby shower, you can celebrate a rainy day as well! Each of these little umbrellas can hold treats. Leave them on the table for guests to enjoy at the party, or wrap them up in cellophane for take home favors. You can adapt these to hold cupcakes as well by creating the umbrella handle around a toothpick and sticking it in the top of the cupcake.
