
I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that Easter is almost here! Over here in the west side of the country we’ve been having chillier weather than normal . In fact we had a heavy snow fall just a few days ago! You can imagine that the weather is making it even harder to put my mind in spring mode! I think however, that this project did the trick for me. This project is so simple and I just love how it turned out.

You are a Hunger Games fan, yes? Oh good, so am I! In fact, I will be eagerly standing in line at midnight tonight for the premier like a faithful little fan. I wanted to make a shirt for the event and I wanted it to be something unique. So I made this emblem for my shirt. I used 10ss yellow rhinestones from the Spring Rhinestone Pack and I have to say I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out.

Spring is in the air! At my house the Daffodils and Tulips are peaking through the soil, the robins are returning and the grass is beginning to turn green. At this time of year I tend to have flowers on the brain. I can’t wait to see the first flowers bloom. All of my project ideas seem to feature a flower in them somewhere.
