Ice Princess Party Favors

Snowflake Winter Party Favors

“Let it Go, Let It Go……” is sung in our household, and my car repeatedly! This movie is so loved in our household, that my almost 5 year old son has chosen it as his theme for his upcoming birthday party at the end of August. The Pazzles Party CD 51 holds many amazing files that can be tweaked as required for your chosen theme. I adore making party décor and favours, and these files give you an excellent base to work from. Most of the pieces of my party are taken from other themed parties on the Party CD and remade with my winter party theme. Circus Pinwheels to Ice Pinwheels These make the quickest little additions to a sweet table or to give as party favours. I plan to make more of these in coordinating colours, and adding a touch of glitter to the corners adds more festivity! They don’t have to spin either, fastening them to a paddle pop stick and used as a static display is quite okay.

Superhero Tea Pals

It’s a bird, no it’s a plane, no it’s a super hero tea pal! When a super hero helps you brew your tea in the morning, you will be ready to face any obstacle your day throws at you! They may look like they are maxing and relaxing in a nice hot steamy tub, but we all know what lurks below... I made these tea pals by altering the super hero files found in the Pazzles image library under Fantasy > Fictional Characters. I used the replace by segment tool to cut their arms off, repositioned them, and welded them back together so they could hang on the side of the cup and brew your tea for you. I included the altered files and the body file so you can make your own. I also think it would be fun to cut pictures of your kid’s or family’s faces and glue them to the face part of the file. Another idea would be to use the princess files (found in the same directory as the superhero files) and have a little girls tea party. There are also several other themed characters that will work perfectly with this project.

World Flags

World Celebration Flags

There have been several times this year that I wished I had a set of paper flags representing many countries. First there was the Olympics, then the World Cup, and now the Tour De France. In between all of these world events, I was in charge of a Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet with a world traveler theme. The point is, I decided it was time to have a little world celebration and make up some of these country flags. Today's project includes 18 different world flags, and a bottle hanger medallion. Customize these for whatever team you are cheering for and celebrate! In order to make these "cutting friendly" I've left off some small details on a few of the flags. Australia, USA and Brazil all have small stars on them which will need to be drawn with the Pen Tool.

Candy Bowties

Candy Filled Bow Ties for ...

My dad is a hard man to give gifts to. He really doesn't have any hobbies besides reading and attending all of his grand kids sporting events. Nothing themed ever fits the bill for his gifts. He doesn't hunt, fish, golf or do any of the other manly things fathers do. As a result he usually gets a new book or two and a treat for every major holiday. I've learned you really can't go wrong with candy. And although my dad doesn't wear bow ties either, this year he's getting his candy with a bit of style. There are two versions of today's project. The first is a simple tag to attach to a bag of candy. I've included tags sized for both the larger bags of candy and the individual sized bags.

Paper Umbrella Shower Favors

This project is perfectly suited for today, because it is pouring rain outside in Kuna, Idaho. While these are intended for a bridal shower or baby shower, you can celebrate a rainy day as well! Each of these little umbrellas can hold treats. Leave them on the table for guests to enjoy at the party, or wrap them up in cellophane for take home favors. You can adapt these to hold cupcakes as well by creating the umbrella handle around a toothpick and sticking it in the top of the cupcake.

Easter Candy Toppers

Easter toppers for treats, bags, cake and cupcakes, or just as tags! All made with files from the craft room!

Hot Tamale Treat Topper

I was so inspired by Amanda’s So Lucky To Have You Treat Topper that I turned it into a treat for my hubby. With just a few changes and his favorite candy it came out so cute. First, I changed the Lucky wording to Hot Tamale and then changed the Pen Tool writing to read "You are one". I added a couple of hearts and hot tamale candies, then some stickles to fancy it up a bit. He’s going to love it!

Easter Egg Carton Carrier

An easy-to-assemble egg carton cover your kids can use to store their eggs in and take home after the egg hunt!

Strawberry Jam Jar Gift Tags

I remember when I was about 10, being in the kitchen with my great grandmother. We called her "Granna". I remember the smell of fresh strawberry jam and helping her to mash the berries. It’s a memory that has stayed with me forever, and so every year I make my house smell just like hers. Fresh strawberry jam is something my family has always loved, and for a few lucky people they get to live that memory with me as I give out the jam. This year I used my Inspiration to make my labels. I first cut three 3" circles for the tops out of a plaid pattern paper. Then I used the Deckled Edge Classic Ovals from the Spellbinders Cutting Collections.

Easter Party Spring Cupcake Wrappers

Four spring-themed cupcake wrappers - a bunny, bird nest, basket, and flower pot. If cupcakes aren't your thing, fill with candy or healthy snacks instead.

Gold Nugget Sucker Covers

Make these golden nugget sucker covers for your friends and family and celebrate St. Patty's day in perfectly green fashion. Let them know how lucky they are you love them.

Butterfly Pops Party Favor

Today I have made a quick 15 minute project, a Butterfly Lollipop Holder using my Pazzles Inspiration. I love butterflies and when I saw this 3-D Butterfly in the Craft Room Library, I just knew I would be using it for one of my projects. I imported the file into my Pazzles software and deselected some of the layers, as I wanted to use a combination of different patterned papers. I duplicated the butterfly and set it to one side. Taking the first imported butterfly I deleted all the layers except the largest base layer.

Treat Cups

Heart Treat Cup

This fun little cup is very quick and easy to make. You just need to fold and glue, then add a special treat. I chose to use just a solid card stock and then use twine to put the tag on.

Hot Cocoa Party Set

A hot cocoa party set for toasty winter gatherings. Includes mug shaped invitations, chocolate covered stirring spoons with spoon covers, and party banner.

Wine Bottle Wrapper

One of the many things that I enjoy about the Pazzles Inspiration is the amazing capability of the software. This wine gift wrap was actually formed by just joining six Skinny Tags together. Size the skinny tag to 9" height and then join six of them together with kiss cut lines between each one. This can be easily done by selecting the Move Point tool and using the Cut Path advanced function to separate out the left and right sides of the interior tags after you break group. The Craft Room video Construction Points is helpful to understand this process.

Halloween Toxic Treat Boxes

I'm a big fan of Halloween and while the cute versions of Halloween characters are fun to craft with, it's the eerie, spooky side of things that I love! Luckily my kids are finally old enough for the fake spiders and skeletons I've been dreaming of decorating with. I like my decorations spooky and creepy without going overboard or giving anyone a month of nightmares. These Halloween Toxic Treat Boxes will make the recipient think twice before gobbling up the goodies and are a quick enough project to make in multiples. Use the Halloween silhouette borders on scrapbook pages as well.

Mad Hatter Tea Party Collection

There's no tea party like a Mad Hatter's Tea Party! Impress your guests with this crazy fun collection and throw a party no one will ever forget.

Spiderweb Cupcake Wrappers and Stand

Spider Web Cupcake Stand And ...

Halloween decorations are popping up all over and party plans are in full swing. What words come to your mind when you think of Halloween? I think: black and orange, spider webs and bats, pumpkins and, of course, sweet treats! I thought it would be fun to combine my favorite Halloween themes into a spooky cupcake stand that will make your party treats look "spook-ta-cular"!

Double Cup Coffee Carrier

Fall is my favorite time of year. Not only do I enjoy all the changes that take place outside with leaves changing and dropping; I love all the changes that take place indoors too. Fall is the time of year when we put the grilling utensils away and opt to make thick stews, soups and roasts instead. This caddy can be used for coffee but my original intent was to fill mason jars with yummy soups.
