Embossed Metal Pumpkin

Embossing Tool: Fabulous 3D Pumpkin ...

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today, and I have a super fun project to share with you.  As I looked around my craft room, I spied some of that fun metal craft I had used on a previous project. I decided that I wanted to do something with it, but what? I headed over to Pinterest to see what would spark my creative juices. I was going through some pins….Like most crafty hearts….I can really get lost down the rabbit…err Pinterest hole! But then it hit…inspiration. I saw these wonderful little “pumpkins” made out of mason jar lids….HERE.  I didn’t have the Mason jar lids, but I had my craft metal and my Pazzles!!!  So I went to work designing the pattern for the embossing. I didn’t just want to cut the metal into strips. Once I finished designing the strips, I used the Pazzles Embossing Tool and embossed the pattern and then cut them out. I cut out a total of 8 strips. You can find the file for this project here: Pazzles Craft Room 3D Pumpkin File.

Embossing Tool: Birthday Card

In keeping with the statistics, August is filled with lots of birthdays for my family and friends, so I decided to use the large end of the Pazzles Embossing Tool and some cute files from the Pazzles Craft Room Library to create a debossed birthday card in the Inspiration Studio Pro 2014 software. The 5x7 inch landscape-oriented card is in five pieces: 1-The 10x7 inch card base (on white cardstock) which folds to 5x7 inch with a kiss cut line. 2-The card front (on sea green cardstock) which is a 0.20 inline of a 5x7 rectangle, debossed with a 0.10 inline and with happy happy happy BiRtHDAY (fonts list at end), 3-The banner mount (on white cardstock), which is the straight banner from the Ribbon-Banners file sized to about 6.6 inches wide by dragging the corner handle, and modified by moving the left pair of kiss cuts a bit to the right to make them the same distance from the left tails as the right kiss cut pair is from the right tails 4-The dimensional sentiment (on teal cardstock) from the Miss Kate Cuttables Celebrate Title, with debossed letters and cut around the whole word (on the largest outline of the word which is darker gray), 5-A star balloon (on teal cardstock) from the Miss Kate Cuttables New Years Balloons file, debossed  on the circles and edge accents and cut out with its string.

Piercing Tool: Birthday Card

Do you still have your Pazzles Piercing Tool packed away? Now is the time to unpack your tool to create a simple birthday card. The Craft Room Library has tons of files that can be used, and with the InVue software you have the option to change your lines to piercing. Within the InVue software I used the A2 card template. For the metal piece I used the Lattice Frame file outline and created an inline duplicate of the shape five times. On two of the lines I selected the piercing option, on three I selected the embossing tool and the final line is used for cutting out the shape. I typed the word Happy Birthday in the middle to be embossed.

Piercing Tool Happy Anniversary Card

I needed a nice anniversary card, and found some suitable designs for creating it in the Pazzles Craft Room Image Library.  I wanted to use my Piercing Tool for this project, and thought that this 3D Butterfly would be perfect inside of a frame for the card front. The piercing and embossing on vellum gave the pieces the elegant touch that I was looking for. I used a Purple Viva Pearl Pen to create the tiny pearls on the center of the butterfly to add that final touch to the completed card.

Dream Big Embossed Vellum Card

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today sharing this pretty and easy card with you today. The task was to use one of the many wonderful tools that Pazzles offers. So I decided to turn my attention to the Embossing Tool. I love that you can emboss different surfaces with your tool and machine. I decided to go with some vellum for a card. I started by using my software to layout the top of the card that would be embossed. I used the Cheery Chrysanthemum file from the Beautiful Blossoms Cutting Collection and created the vellum overlay.

Snowflake Embossed Cards And A ...

If the weather outside is frightful, stay inside, and make some winter paper projects. Armed with a few pads of Core'dinations cardstock and the Pazzles Embossing Tool, I made a trio of cards to celebrate the wintry weather. We've long been a fan of Core'dinations here at Pazzles. Distressing the cardstock adds a special element to a project. Using the embossing tool and then distressing it, takes it to a new level. When you use the embossing tool you have two unique looks depending on the side of the paper you choose to use. The embossing tool actually debosses the front of the paper leaving an indention as it moves through the design. Once your embossing is complete and you pull the paper off of the embossing mat, the backside of the paper is embossed and the image is raised. By sanding either of these sides you get a different look.

Embossed Snowflake Pocket Tags

Embossing is the name of the game for today's 15 minute project. I grabbed an embossing tool to play with and the ideas started coming.

Embossing Tool

Recently, a Hobby Lobby store opened in our area. Now, I know some of you have had Hobby Lobby stores near you for a long time but this is the first one in Idaho. My daughter, Leslie and I have gone a tad crazy in the home décor section of the store. We have been inspired to spruce up certain dull areas of our homes. Leslie has been redecorating (or should I say finally decorating) her back porch bathroom so that her little girls will use it instead of Mommy’s bathroom.
