Peek A Boo Window Kite Card

Peek-A-Boo-Kite-Card

Hello ladies, today I am sharing an aperture/window card. These are incredibly easy to make and using your Pazzles you can create perfect alignment of the aperture when layered onto a card.

I drew my 5” x 5” layer using my software. I aligned my Bird Flying Kite file and arranged it onto my 5” x 5” square layer. I drew a circle aperture in my Pazzles software and arranged it over my kite. I print & cut my design having watched the video tutorial Using Cutting Files for Print and Cut, which explains how to use registration boxes.

For my blue cardstock layer I increased the outline of my white square printout. I then cut out my blue square cardstock layer (including the circle aperture). I then followed the same procedure and made an outline of my blue square cardstock layer to create my pink square cardstock layer (including the aperture). I then mirrored and duplicated my pink square layer to make my card base (excluding the aperture for the back of my card base). I then placed my 3 layers on top of each other, including the perfectly aligned circle apertures and assembled my card with adhesive.Peek-A-Boo-Kite-Card-Window

In order to give extra definition to the aperture I made a thin circle outline border in blue cardstock. Finally, I printed out my design one more time onto white printer paper, excluding the aperture and adhered it to the inside of my base card.

My jaw hit the ground at how easy this was to do…..no guess work or measuring, just a perfect match first time using my Pazzles software!
