Our original Fun Folds Collection was one of our most popular collections ever. Introducing the Fun Folds 2 Cutting Collection. Ten brand new card bases ready for you to embellish and create with. Our Fun Fold card bases give you a beautiful starting point for your creations, with no measuring and scoring. I quickly made an Easter card using the Shutter Card file and some Verve stamps. You'll notice that I actually folded this card backwards to create a new look. Instead of the center panel being on the front, I folded it to the back and adhered my oval to just one side of the card. Try this with the other folds to get even more options. The Diamond Fold Card has as completely new look when folded backwards.

Celebrate/A Celebrar
It is a good idea to have a plenty of Birthday cards to celebrate these specials dates. There are cards in several styles. Today I want to show a fancy birthday card. For me a card of this type sounds elegant. For the inspiration I searched in the best place for that, the Pazzles Craft Room; it is full of inspiration and files. I got interested in the Fun Fold 2 Cutting file collection.

Elegant Cards Week: Lattice Overlay ...
For this elegant Mother’s Day card I used the Fun Folds 2 Shutter Card from the Fun Folds 2 Cutting Collection. I thought this particular card, with its wavy edges and raised oval center, was perfect for a Mother’s Day card. Instead of using the solid overlays that are included in the file, I chose turn them into a lattice pattern using the tools in the Inspiration Studio Pro 2014 software. Then I added a small pearl at each intersection of the lattice pattern.

Gatefold Birthday Card — Paris Shutter Card
I adore making cards–it’s my thing! I really love making something extra special for someone to help make their day memorable. This card was made for a very special young lady who just turned 9. She’s an old soul, and a delightful young lady. She has an interest in all things Paris, so deciding on the theme was easy. It’s no secret the Fun Folds II Collection is one of my absolute favourites and a ‘go to’ file. This particular file, the Shutter Card, along with the Vintage Frame is something I’ve used before. This time it’s different. It’s more heavily embellished and the paper is highly patterned.

Advent Countdown Cards — Advent Countdown Calendar
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse…… Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? I’m constantly reminded by the children and also the Christmas merchandise that seems to hit the stores at the start of October! I’m sharing my ‘countdown calendar’ with all of you today and hope I leave you with some inspiration for your own interpretation of one. I changed my mind so many times of how I was going to create this calendar, but I have to say I’m very pleased with the result, and I can still go a bit further with embellishments if I want to. We haven’t done a countdown calendar quite like this before, and so the thought of creating something with family activities built in sounded like fun. The main files I’ve used are the Gate Fold Card from the Fun Folds 1 Cutting Collection, Assembling Rosettes files, and Pocket Card. I used the print and cut method for the small discs with each number and also for the activity cards.

60th Shutter Card — 60th Birthday Shutter Card
August is such a crazy month for our family with birthdays what feels like every other day! It’s not just our immediate family, but many friends as well. It’s a busy, but happy month. I may be my own worst enemy, but for some reason I don’t often re-create the same card design. I like to do unique designs for each person. However, there was a card I made earlier this year that looked so striking I used it for my inspiration for this one. You can’t go wrong with the Fun Folds Card Collections – for this project I’ve selected the Shutter Card with the oval on the front face. I have omitted the oval and replaced it with the Vintage Frame file instead.

Mad Hatter Tea Party Invitation
My niece just had her wedding shower this month and asked me to create an invitation for her. The shower was Mad Hatter Tea Party themed. Of course I said yes, and this is what I created for her. I used the Panel Gate Fun Folds Card Base for the base of the card. I printed the Hearts Overlay and the Elegant Layered Frame with the words “Open Me” and “Pull Me” inside the frames onto an 8 1/2x11 piece of cream colored cardstock, then used the print and cut feature to cut the Gate fold card out.

I love the look of fancy cards with unique card bases and lots of paper layers. I like to call these little mini masterpieces super cards. It's a card you make for an extra special occasion or for an extra special recipient. I love to make super cards, but I don't like to figure out the dimensions and folds of each new pattern. The first set of card bases I created, Fun Folds Cutting Collection, has been very popular as well as the rest of the card base collections. That tells me that you ladies like to make super cards too, but don't always like to measure and score. I created this newest set mostly for myself, but I'm happy to share with you as well. After some designing and measuring I've come up with the Easel Cards Cutting Collection. There are 10 different options and lots of layers to mix and match.

Stinkin Cute Fun Fold Skunk Card — Stinkin Cute Shutter Card
Hello crafty friends, Melin here and today I wanted to share a really quick and simple card you can make with some great Craft Room files. I started by using the Fun Folds 2 Shutter Card base. I cut that in plain white cardstock. I then cut the panels in some DCWV Floral Fair patterned paper. I cut several of the Creamy Flower file in plain white cardstock. I also cut several of the centers in some Bazzil Tangerine Bling. I then used the stem from the Long Stemmed Swirl Flower file for my stems and leaves. I used some Buttercup Ink from Close To My Heart and sponged the ink in the center and worked my way out. I left the tips of the flowers white so they would have some character and depth. I then added the circles to the centers and then added some Yellow Stickles to the centers.

Tri-Shutter Mother’s Day Card
I love creating pretty, and heartfelt projects for other people to enjoy, and with Mother's Day this month, I took this as an opportunity to test out one of the new Fun Folds Cards from the Fun Folds 2 Collection. For this project I chose the Tri Shutter Card and went to work on bringing it to life. I had some pretty Kaisercraft paper in my stash, which is double sided so it took the 'pain' out of selecting a coordinating paper from a rather large collection of patterned paper. All I had to do after cutting out the base and mats was turn over a few pieces to break up the design, ink them and secure them to get ready for the fun part of adding embellishments!

Wedding Anniversary Gate Card
Yesterday was my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Being married for 50 years is quite an accomplishment and I wanted to make them a special card to go with our gift. Our Fun Folds Cutting Collection has been very popular and I love to use the card bases when an extra special card is called for. In this case I used the Panel Gate Fun Fold file and welded the 50 to the top of the inside flap. I added some roses made with the Twirled Flowers files to the front and a monogram made from gold glitter cardstock, since the 50th anniversary is the golden anniversary.
