Face Masks

We are continuing our series of projects honoring teachers around the world with these fun animal masks! As any teacher knows, teaching is as much about grabbing the students’ interest and keeping it as it is teaching the subject. These masks can add a fun and memorable element to your lessons that your students are sure to enjoy. Teach about animal species, Noah’s ark, and more! Or if animal masks aren’t quite what you need, make up your own masks for any occasion! This project, like all of our school projects, is super simple and extremely versatile!

To make these masks simply cut out the cutting files in card stock and glue together as pictured. Thread elastic string the the holes in the mask and secure with knots.

Here are the cutting files for these face masks

I remember making these masks and cutting them out by hand. I would then give the pieces to the kids to do sequence lessons (pre-k). With the older kids (who also loved these) we would study the animals and write reports about them. They loved wearing the masks while they read (actually signed) their oral reports. It just made it more fun.
