“Straw” Berries Party Straws

Fruit Straws Party Straws

I can’t resist a fun straw in my drink. I remember when the plastic crazy straws came out when I was a kid. I hosted a get together a few summers ago and themed our adult beverages around these vintage straws. They were a hit! Create your own party in a glass. Mix up a pitcher of sweet tea, or your favorite berry delicious drink and create these “straw” berries to sip from. They’ll be a perfect “pick” for a summer shandy.

Next weekend, my grandchildren are coming to visit for the first time in three years (they were in Okinawa). These party straws are so cute & I’m sure that they will be a big hit. The link for the cutting files does not seem to be working but I’ll keep trying. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

The cutting files link appears to be broken.

Perfect timing! These are great — my little toddler and his playgroup friends will love these for when I make them for our “End of Summer Park Potluck Playdate” I will be hosting towards the end of the month.

Wonderful. Fun! It looks like these are a hit for both adults and kids (given the previous comments). You might even make matching napkin rings and a streamer!!
I read the directions on how you did this Tatum, as it was not clear from the picture. I have often thought about doing just what you did with putting the cut pieces back on the mat, but have not tried. Inspiring!! Thanks.

Oops. I want to say that I also love how you used the “gems” for added texture.

Krista, thanks for always noticing all the details on my projects. Makes me feel so good I have a talented eye like yours that notices all the extra love I put on my projects. Hugs!
