WCMD: Acrylic Card Overlays

Webs-Of-Fun-Card
It’s fun to try out new crafting techniques. I wanted to make a card that would be simple, use the Pen Tool and have a spooky Halloween theme. I used Adirondack Earthtones Alcohol Ink in the color Slate to add extra detail around my pen tool lines that I made using Sharpie. Dabbing alcohol inks around the edge of your acrylic overlay is a great way to add a hint of detail and help make it stand out against your card or page. Another great thing about acrylic is you can journal captions and notes without covering up your project underneath. I hope you have fun creating these acrylic frames for cards or layouts.

I’ve created three other acrylic card overlays that you can download below.
