DIY Halloween Spiral Streamers
I’ve been wanting to make these streamer decorations for Halloween for some time now. Making things the way you want without the high price of pre-fab items is easy with a Pazzles Craft Room membership which gives access to many ready-to-use designs in the library and throughout the many project ideas.
An Affordable and Quick Project
These decorations fit four spiral hangers on one 12 by 12 inch page and the four Halloween shapes on a second page so this uses few resources. This can be resized up to one spiral hanger per 12 by 12 inch paper, though I found the smaller sizes easier to manage and plenty large.
In the materials list is black thread or craft floss but accent colors could certainly be used or, as I did here, a black Sharpie drawn on white embroidery floss works great! One set of four can be made in under 15 minutes so making a whole room ceiling full could be made relatively quickly with only a few sheets of paper.
Consider Adding Glow-In-The-Dark Paint
These could be splatter painted with glow-in-the-dark paint or a stripe of glitter glue could be added to the spiral hangers to reflect party lights. Use the spiral hanger portion of the file to hang snowflakes at Christmas, hearts at Valentine’s Day, shamrocks at St. Patrick’s Day, stars at Independence Day, etc. in colors suited to the holiday.
