Have you ever been so busy with daily projects, chores and household duties you never take a minute to sit down and take a break? The Inspiration in a lot of ways can be like that too. Sometimes just simply unplugging the USB cable or turning the cutter off is just the thing it needs for a quick break so it continue to keep working hard for you.
I had my Cutting Control Panel up and clicked on Cut Project, but my Inspiration wasn’t responding. I continued to keep clicking, but nothing happens. What would cause this problem?

When the Inspiration is trying so hard to remember every signal that is being sent to it there can be a relay in the memory of the Inspiration. If you continue to click Cut Project, each time you’re doing that the signal will continue to be sent and in essence can cause the memory to lapse. That means there’s so much being sent at one time, the Inspiration communicating with your software is unable to keep up. A good way to describe it is like a full glass of water and you continue to keep pouring in more. You can try to close down the software and start the Inspiration software up again. You can also try turning your Inspiration off and back on. If neither of those work try unplugging the USB cable from the back of your Inspiration. What you want to do is stop whatever signal is being sent to your Inspiration. Once you’ve unplugged the cable, plug it back in again and then try cutting the file again. I think you’ll find that this trick works like a charm, and you’ll be back up and running before you know it.
Ihave been trying to cut a project on a 12X12 page and the cutter is cutting off the paper and onto the mat. Any suggestions
i have tried to unplug and shut off cutter and same problem not responding..very fustrated.. put it away. could it be software or need a cord ..only alittle over yr old but not used alot..
