Pyramid Box

This is a very simple box to make but I think there is something so elegant about it. I know I have said it before but I think something about an unexpected shape for a box really adds something really special to the presentation. I went with just some very basic colors and textures and I really love how it turned out. Did I mention it is SO EASY TO MAKE?

This would be great for giving hair barrettes, little makeup goodies, or jewelry. It is a small box as is however you can easily double the size and still fit it on one 12”x12” sheet if you need something a bit bigger. Keep this one in mind for wedding favors too as it is just the right size and easy enough that it is feasible to make in mass amounts. I hope you enjoy it!

I think that the most difficult process of making and constructing these beautiful boxes is deciding which papers to use. I even penned in my own paper design (using the pen tool of course) when I couldn’t find the right papers to coordinate with the rest of the box designs. Thank You!

Love the box. 🙂 Having trouble downloading the instruction file though; my PDF comes up with no option of saving and when I do “select all” and “copy” it does not copy the pics, so I have to copy each separate.

For this file though, I can’t even get the pics to copy.

    Any suggestions to help please.

Try RIGHT clicking the link for the pdf and then select “Save target as” or “Save link as”. You should then be able to save the PDF to your computer 🙂

Love this box! I’ve tried cutting it out but it keeps completely cutting off the tabs instead of the “kiss” line!! I’m not that good with SCAL3 or the Pazzles program so I can change this…HELP!!!!

Michele, I too had this problem and Klo gave me a couple tips. She’s including this issue in her class on Sunday. I cut my perforation (kiss cut) lines separately from the outline of the box. I used card stock and cut the perforation lines with a lighter blade pressure, and also I adjusted the blade holder on the machine to 1. When 1 didn’t make a scratch on the paper I moved the dial to 1 1/2. For me 1 1/2 scratched my card stock and that’s all I wanted. Happy cutting! I’m having so much fun!!
