Give your projects an artsy touch with this Mixed Media Stencil Cutting Collection. This set of 12 Mixed Media Stencils can be used a number of different ways. The files include a card sized stencil and a scrapbook border stencil. When you buy these stencils one at a time, they can get spendy, but you can make a dozen for just a few dollars with this collection. Here are a few ideas for using these:
Cut them out of Stencil Plastic and use Whipped Spackle or thick gesso. Swipe the gesso over the stencil and then with a small putty knife wipe off the excess. Pull up the stencil and let the card dry. You’ll have a dimensional design you can watercolor over. (Or watercolor first, then stencil over the top.)
Cut out of Stencil Plastic and use ink and an ink dauber to make your design.
Cut the stencil out of Vinyl, apply it to the paper and use paint or watercolors to paint in your design. Then peel up the vinyl to see your design.
Cut out of paper and just adhere it to the page as a card or scrapbook background.
