      This is Love

      This is Love
      By Mary Kerr, www.anangelsart.com
      Materials Needed:
      (1) 12x12 Black Cherry Chocolate Box Corédinations Cardstock
      (1) 12x12 Cream of Wheat Corédinations Cardstock
      (1) 8.5x11 Light Totally Tan Worldwin Cardstock
      (1) Pink Crystal Brad, Making Memories
Light Pink Velvet Rickrack, May Arts
      Raspberry Velvet Rickrack, May Arts
      Creamy Brown Chalk Inkpad, Clearsnap
Chocolate & Watermelon Inkpads, Close to My Heart
Tiny Typewriter Alphabet Stamps, Close to My Heart
Blue & Brown Precision Point Pens, .03, American Crafts
Using the Distress tool and the Creative Cutter, distress the polka dots and “Love” word on Black Cherry
      12x12 Corédinations cardstock.
Distress and cut one oversized eyelet mat from Cream of Wheat Corédinations cardstock. Cut off a scrap
of the paper that remains from cutting the eyelet mat and adhere it to the mat with the smooth side up.
Using the Fat Marker tool for the Pro (or Pen tool with Inspiration) and the brown pen, write the words “this
is” and then cut the small tag.
From the Light Totally Tan cardstock, cut the rectangle mat. From the scrap pieces that remain, draw lines
with the blue pen and the Fat Marker tool, then cut two torn note paper journaling blocks. Adhere the light
tan mat to the center of the eyelet shaped mat.
Cut two pieces of raspberry velvet rickrack measuring 4” long, and one that measures 3.5” long. Cut one
piece of light pink velvet rickrack measuring 4” long and one measuring 3.5” long. Fold each of the longer
pieces of rickrack into V shapes, and staple to the edge of the eyelet mat.
Adhere the completed eyelet mat to the base page of the layout as shown in the photo. Crop your
photo down to 5.5”x6.75” and adhere it to the rectangular light tan mat. Shade the edges of the tan mat,
the small tag and the journaling blocks with creamy brown chalk ink. Adhere the shorter pieces of rickrack to
the two torn paper journaling blocks, light pink at the top of one and raspberry at the bottom of the other.
Slip the block with the lighter ribbon slightly behind the photo mat on the right side. Adhere the other
journaling mat to the top of the mat at the lower right corner.
Attach the small tag to the layout with the crystal brad, slightly overlapping the word Love as shown.
Using chocolate and raspberry inkpads and tiny alphabet letter stamps, stamp the journaling onto the torn
paper journaling blocks using the drawn lines as guides.

    • Do you have a cutting file for the frame you used on the dog picture? Thanks

This was done as a design team project, and so Pazzles owns the cutting file for it. For that reason I'm unable to share it freely, but it's possible that they will add it to the library at some point. HTH!

This is so cute...I makes me miss my dog. I like the way that you made it pretty and yet kept it simple. Lovely layout. :-)
