      Cushion Covers and Doorstop

I made some cushion covers recently and decided to make a door stop with the left over fabric.

so here it is i designed a simple house shape with the pazzles software and cut the pattern out in card.

i then used this card pattern to cut out my fabric and felt which i appliqued onto the front of my doorstop

I love this idea! So cute! I'm with you pink, not much of a sewer though I really admire it. I can mend holes and put buttons back on but that's about the limit of my skills!

hi all thanks for the nice comments, i am not a sewer either i last had a machine over 30yrs ago and was rubbish at it then.

in june i got inspired again from seeing various sewing projects on tv and the net so i treated myself to a new machine and have just been playing about, everything ive done is just straight sewing so simple really.

machines are great now you dont even have to use a foot pedal you set the speed press a button and its sews, it even makes button holes and sews the butoon on, now how cool is that!
