Ryder's Super Hero 3rd Birthday Cake

Sooo.... about 24 hours of work, a few errors, a heat wave, and the consumption of one Super Hero (the Hulk - the first one broke, so I ate him!!!) and the perfect Super Hero cake for one special little boy.

A double layer chocolate mud cake with a centre of chocolate frosting, with butter cream frosting and fondant and gumpaste decorations.

Super Heroes are Pazzles cutting files, all made in gum paste. I made minor adjustments to Superman so that I could have him flying up from the rest of the cake. Robyn is so adorable, Ryder recognised Batman immediately, and also ate the Hulk first. The city scape is from the "Cityscape card" in the Pazzles library too.

I loved your cake! So perfect! I was about to buy a cricut machine, then I realized my pazzles did pastry and I felt so lucky that all I had to buy was a simple kit instead of a whole new machine. I loved the whole cake, and can tell you really put some time and love. Smile
