Christmas Tree: Dark Meri-gold, Dark Glorious Green and Medium
Glorious Green
House and Sidewalk: Bazzill Brown
Chipboard for base (cut with a random edge by hand.)
Glitterex Glitter (for snow effect on base)
Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint "White" for painting base of project.
"Lumpy" snow created by adding UTEE, small glass beads, Pearl-X
White, Ultra fine glitter and Beacon 3-in-1 liquid glue together and
placing it on the project to give the effect of built up snow. (A
great T!M HOLTZ idea!)
Icicles on edge of roof created by using Glossy Accents "Dripped" off
the edge and wait for it to dry clear.
Fence is glued down to the board with Glossy Accents and then covered
with the "Lumpy Snow" (I extended the bottoms of a few of the fence
sections to give it a little more foot for glueing into place.
Stickles are used to create the "lights" over the windows and door,
and to highlight some areas of the candy's.
Kaiser Kraft "Pearls" are used for the door knob.
To get the Christmas Tree to stand up inside I took the base and
folded it (you can't really see it anyway)
Ok, so my "Gingerbread/CandyCane house" has green trees in the front
yard, but I started with one idea and it morphed into this. This was a
load of fun to do. I will probably be adding more to it (Because
goodness knows every time I "finish" I add just one more thing and
have to retake the photos....lol)
