I had embroidered jungle animals onto this shirt for my granddaughter per her request....but it didn't look African. I wasn't sure what to do with it once I had embroidered it. So, I decided to frame it, but didn't want to touch the animals...so I took the design from the embroidery file and made a jpg to import into my Inspiration Studio Pro so that I could create a mask to cut out. I did that and covered the embroidered part of the shirt using a temporary/washable adhesive. I then created a frame from the blue book and painted that in. But, the animals still didn't look African from her point of view and I had to agree.....so I painted them in using a variety of mediums including indigo ink, Ink Tense color sticks and fabric markers/paints. She loves it now. The photo unfortunately dosn't show off the detail. This was a fun project.
