This by far has been one of my most favorite projects. It’s probably because I love Easter so much. After all, it is my favorite holiday. I still get excited year after year for the Easter Bunny to fill my basket with all my favorite goodies. I’m not a huge chocolate fan, but I couldn’t resist making this cute chocolate bunny for the front of my pocket purse. Enjoy!
Supplies:
Basket---- My Mind’s Eye; Laundry Line Coastal “Lucky” Lucky Run Paper
Carrot Handle---- Brown background ColorMates; Deep Creamy Cocoa, orange for the carrots, and two shades of green for the carrot leaves
Ribbon Handle---- Worldwin; Treasures, Honeydew Green
Front Carrot---- ColorMates; Deep Creamy Cocoa, orange for the carrot, and two shades of green for the carrot leaves
Scallop Wrap---- Color Mates; Deep Fairy Tale Pink
Rabbit---- ColorMates; Deep Creamy Cocoa Background paper—ColorMates; Medium Glorious Green
Front Square--- ColorMates; Light Awesome Aqua (placed behind scallop wrap)
Worldwin; Treasures, Honeydew Green behind the carrot and the rabbit
Chalk---use shades that are darker than your paper selection to create shadowing.
I used pop dots to place the carrot and the bunny on the front of the bag.
Tatum.....I could not tell from the group photo that the handle on this one was a carrot! I love that idea! Not sure which one I think is the cutest......they are all so awesome. Thanks for sharing.........
