I have been seeing these cards at the Splitcoast Stampers site and I think they are absolutely adorable. I created a template in my PI Studio software and I decided I wanted a decorative edge and I got my inspiration from the Fiskars “Sunburst” border punch. For the flower I used I got my inspiration from a Stamping Up flower that I had seen online, but you could use any cutter flower that you have in your Blue Book…you just want to make sure you use two layers for that dimensional look! I used the Pen Tool to make “kiss kut” lines on both the flowers and the leaves to give them a “stitched” look. There is a video at the following link showing you how to basically make this project….I put my own creative style into the one I made: http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stampin_studio/2009/05/flower-pot-card-video-.html, but the video will help you to make your project. For the leaves, I actually used some of leaves from the “Birds” file from the Pazzles “Paper Lace” CD, which I altered to meet my needs for this project! I used 41-A from the Charmers files that came with my Inspiration for the tag.
