    • These things are so expensive in the specialty shops. Which kind of vinyl did you use for this? I always get confused on that issue. You just gave me an idea for a gift for a friend who is starting back to work with the school system this week. She will need this! LOL

Vicki, I didn't even know there were different types of vinyl . I bought this vinyl at the expo in costa mesa and have also bought it at the ontario expo from a company called the vinyl outlet, very inexpensive. You can find them online at vinyloutlet.net. I first tried it on a coffee mug and put it through several washes and then realized that the vinyl wasn't going anywhere. Then decided hey, I can sell these.

There are a lot of different type of vinyls for outdoor/indoor/cars etc. The Pazzles vinyl (NOT the Wall Vinyl but the other vinyl) will do the job like a champ. I have some bowls, plates, and mugs with the pazzles vinyl on them and I've had them for years. I think the dishes themselves will probably be broken/chipped before the vinyl comes off lol! One key thing I found is to just let the vinyl sit on for a few days before you wash the dish.
