Love this, did you just dismantle a fry box to copy the pattern? I have often thought of doing that I think the Pazzles has ruined me, I see everything as things I can cut lol.

Very cute idea. I just wish I didn't need 2500 ......! I have to cheat and do the VERY simple things for that many.

2500! Holy moly! I did this as a make n' take at a crop last October, but I did do a few extras for family and friends. I think the fry box was a pattern that I got from a magazine that I scanned, converted and cleaned up.
I think I originally made the fry boxes as decorated treat boxes for a Christmas party using the gingerbread man on the front from my Taggin' Along CD. Then last year I changed it up to make these for Halloween using the pumpkin (which is also from Taggin' Along).

I love the idea of the fry box. This is really cute....big enough for little trinkets and yet not so huge that you would have to put more inside of it. Halloween is going to be expensive this year....has anyone priced out the candy yet? I decided on some candy and lots junky trinket type toys....they love that stuff. Love the nearsided pumpkin too...I never would have thought of that! LOL!

For the Christmas ones, I put some paper shred and three Ghirardelli squares in each one, then put the whole thing inside a cello bag tied at the top with ribbon. It was really cute. I wish I would have taken a photo of one before I gave them all away!
