      Tropical Dishes

I saw these dishes at Target last year and I just loved the bright, happy colors! I used black vinyl to create the palm trees and it was really easy. I let the vinyl "set" for a few days before I put them in a dishwasher but they washed just fine. I still have them and many washes later the vinyl looks just as good as the day I put it on!

    • Amanda, I have admired this for a while ( it's on the other site, right? ), any way I haven't yet tried vinyl because I am not sure how it cuts/works or stays attached...not to be a boob but do you use some kind of adhesive or does it just " stick " by itself? Dana

It just sticks by itself Smile Think of it as an extremely durable sticker. It is so easy to cut, don't be afraid of it!

Love these! Do you actually eat off of this plate? I wouldn't think you would eat off of a plate with vinyl stickers, but you mention running it through the dishwasher and now I'm curious!

Yes actually I do eat off of it lol! But it is a little plate rather than a dinner plate so I usually just have a sandwich on it, I wouldn't take a knife to it I don't think but other than that it holds up quite well!
