      Autumn Poem

I love September for the fall colors. I've been working with the pen tool lately. Finally found some Sakura pens!

What did you use the pen tool on? The letters look embossed and cut out. Smile

Wrangler, the paper is just beige marbled cardstock. What I think you're seeing is the outline. I used a brown sharpie marker to outline all the letters, then used the Engraving infill with a Sakura metallic bronze pen. When I do this technique again I'm going to do the order in reverse - infill then outline. Some of the infill overlaps the outline.

Tara, thank you! The feeling is mutual - I was just showing off your wagon and carousel at work today. You got lots of wows!

Bev, how unique! At first glance it does look like cut letters, but when zoomed in you can really see the engraving done by the ink...
