      Milk and Cookies Birthday Invitation

One of my friends asked me to create a milk and cookies birthday invitation for her daughter's 3rd birthday. This is the final product! I'm so pleased with how this turned out. The only issue I ran into was the plastic of the "cup" actually adhering to the invitation. I tried all types of adhesive without much luck.

Thank you so much! I was super proud of it, but it's still frustrating that I felt like the adhesive wasn't working the way I'd hoped. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to offer suggestions. :-)

Great invite, have you tried double sided sticky tape?

Thank you so much! Yes, and the final score was double sided sticky tape - 2 Jen - 0. I tried the stuff that's supposed to be really secure (with the red wrap) in two different sizes. I'm thinking, I may need to staple it to the top piece of cardstock before adhering the layers of cardstock together. This would at least hide the staple. Either that, or my mom suggested roughing up the plastic in hopes of the grooves giving the tape a little more to hang onto.
