The software lends a helping hand to create the layout of your quilt and create new schemes and designs. I’ve even used the Print and Cut feature on fabric and it worked beautifully! We currently offer a fabric mat which works great for pre-stiffened fabrics, but for me personally I just use a regular mat. I keep one mat on hand that is just used for fabric. I use Heat n Bond Lite to adhere to the back of my fabric so that it creates a nice plastic backing to the fabric fibers. It helps create a nice smooth surface for the blade to cut through and leaves the edges of your fabric as smooth as paper. The instructions for working with Heat n Bond Lite are included in the packaging and can be purchased anywhere. Once the Heat n Bond Lite is applied to the back of your fabric you remove the paper backing and adhere to the mat, Heat N Bond Lite side down. If you haven’t already tried working with fabric, don’t be scared! The concept for working with fabric and your Inspiration is the same as working with paper. ”Sew” find those fat quarters you’ve been collecting and put them to use in your upcoming projects.
