12 Memories of Christmas: October made with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

12 Days of Memories: October

October is all about Halloween and the cute costumes and spooky décor mean lots of photos will be taken. Although it will be hard to do, choose your favorites for this October calendar page.

Scaredy Cat Cutting Collection: WPC, ...

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I wanted to create a collection that was a little spooky and a little classy. I started with the curled cat and everything just grew from there. There are so many fun elements in this Scaredy Cat Cutting Collection.

Trapped Hands Window Decoration

Trapped Hands Shadow Window Decoration

Super quick and easy, these five mini projects will put the scare in your lair in under an heure (ok, that’s French for hour, but it rhymes! Poetic license peeps!) Lickety-Split Luminaries (est. 15 minutes) These are more like lamp shades, in that they have no bottoms or tops, but they’re perfect for quick and easy decorating.  Find your favorite creepy shapes in the Pazzles Craft Room and create your own scary scene with shapes such as the witch from files like Best Witches, the tombstones and fence from the Graveyard Fence Border, the Spooky House, the Howling Ghost, the tree  and Bats (to name a few).   Create an 8.5 by 5.5 inch rectangle then inline it at 0.5 to create a black frame with the center (inline) white, then line up your scene with each element overlapping the one next to it as well as the edges of the frame; select the whole group and Subtract Weld them together in your software. To create legions of lurid landscapes use the powerful software to modify the files to fit your fancy: rotate and crop the Haunted Spooky Tree (with Cut Straight Line) then duplicate to become a brier thicket foreground or use the Spooky Branch in a similar manner.

Halloween Potion Jars with Vinyl

It's not often you get to say the words Essence of Nightmares, but today is the day Pazzles friends. Today's project is Halloween Potion Jars made with vinyl labels. I think you are really going to enjoy this spooky project.

Halloween Wicked Witch Treat Bag

Halloween Treat Bag

It’s almost Halloween and time for the treats to eat and give away! I confess that I’m not a Halloween fan, but I do enjoy the candy.

Distressing Tool: Halloween Stair Step ...

Using the Pazzles Distressing Tool is so much fun to see how the different papers change. If you have not purchased this tool you are missing out on the fun. For this project I used the Card Template Fun Folds Stair Steps from the Pazzles Library. To assemble this card separate all pieces, then print out the card base.  Once the base is cut out you will pinch fold the inside step section of the card, folding on the fold lines. Once the card is folded you will cut out the inside pieces and glue down on the card.

Halloween Window Silhouettes

Halloween Window Silhouettes Cutting Collection

Dress up your house for Halloween with some spooky window clings. This set of 10 Halloween Silhouette cut files will help you haunt your house for the holiday. Cut the Halloween Window Silhouettes Cutting Collection from Window Cling Material or Wall Vinyl for spooky touches you can add all over your house. Because Window Cling and Wall Vinyl aren't permanent, you'll be able to easily remove these after the holiday.

Haunted House Shadow Box

Haunted House Shadow Box

Boo!  Isn’t Halloween fun? And what is scarier than a creepy, old haunted house? I’ve included all the files to fill your haunted house. A creepy skeleton, a coffin…nobody knows where its owner could be lurking, and it looks like the witch left her broom behind with her trusted black cat. Don’t even think about going up into the attic with those abnormally large spiders up there! EEK!!  I hope you have fun creating your spooky haunted house. I think it would be neat to add a scary tree and fence and make a whole scene for your mantel. Don’t forget to make a few extra spiders to crawl all over your Halloween table or mantel.

Paper Bag Spooky Tree

Paper Bag Fall Tree

This versatile 3D Fall Tree design can be used as room décor for a variety of occasions. Cut in craft paper, it makes a nice centerpiece for the entire Fall season. It may be fully decorated with colorful leaves, or it may have bare branches with leaves scattered at its base. Cut in black, it becomes a spooky tree that can serve as host to numerous critters from the Craft Room Library, such as the spider, web, black cat, and bat used here.

Tombstone Candy Boxes

Tombstone Halloween Treat Boxes

It's getting closer and closer to Halloween and because I love this holiday so much, my decorations are spreading out all over my house. It's the spookiest time of the year and I love every detail of it. Although I think these tombstones would be even cooler made from paper, and life size, in my front yard, for now a mini size will have to do.

Dimensional Paper Scarecrow

Happy Fall with a Scarecrow/Feliz ...

We are at the start of the final quarter of year and that means the Fall season is here. Leaves fall and night comes early. It is time  to change the decor at home to welcome this season. I have seen a lot of beautiful decor and I always like the scarecrow that is used in the farms to protect the crops and for decor too.  I decided to make one for my home and I want it to be dimensional. For the Scarecrow I have used the following files: Pumpkin file from the Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece for the head.

Pumpkin Treat Cups

Pumpkin or Apple Paper Treat ...

Fall offers so many opportunities for creativity. I am especially drawn to pumpkins and apples. It makes me think of crisp, fall days and all of the delicious tastes and smells. These treat cups are double the fun! They make beautiful decorations and hold sweet treats in the secret compartment.

Paper Spell Books

Halloween Spell Book Treat Boxes

I may have mentioned this before, but I love Halloween. I can't wait until it rolls around in the Craft Room every year so I can start dreaming up spooky crafts. This week I put together some spell box treat boxes.

‘Halloween Fun’ Glitter Globes and ...

I can't explain it, but ever since I was a little kid, I have always ADORED Halloween! To me, Halloween is a time to create incredible memories and celebrate the silliness and creativity of the world! That is why this year I chose to showcase some of my silliest Halloween memories with friends and family in a unique and clever way.

Halloween Masks

Halloween is such a fun time of the year and many parties are being hosted. Your Pazzles Vue holds so many possibilities for costume making, masks and decor. I decided to create two masks which would be perfect for a masquerade party. Your masks can be as simple or as elaborate as you please.

Halloween Push Ups

I have a confession...I LOVE quick and easy projects that look like they take a long time and a lot of effort and deliver a big WOW!  I think this project delivers all of those and more.

Sweet Treats

Hello crafty friends, Melinda with you here today. October is here already. Whether you go trick or treating or attend fall festivals or even Trunk or Treat, there is a lot of "sweetness" involved with this month.  So I decided to create this super fun treat box-bag, that you can put some fun treats and sweets in for your favorite little or not so little person...

Halloween Photo Props

Halloween Photo Booth Props

Every year I have a big Halloween party for my extended family and every year it gets bigger and better. I love planning it and adding a new little surprise each year. This year the surprise is a photo booth, and for my project today I'm sharing a set of Halloween photo booth props.

Halloween Matchbox Treat Boxes

Halloween Matchbox Treats Cutting Collection: ...

Create a cast of spooky characters to haunt your holiday with the Halloween Matchbox Treats Cutting Collection. Pick a few of your favorites to create, or make them all. Each matchbox has a slide out inner box to hide treats or small gifts inside. Your little goblins will be delighted to receive these.

Stand Up Pumpkin Box

Fall is officially here! It is one of my favorite seasons, and a trip to the pumpkin patch is only secondary to decorating the house. I always wrap a leaf swag around my banister, put a festive fall wreath on the door, and add fun, fall themed items to just about every flat surface!
