One Sheet Wonder Card Set

One Sheet Wonder Cards

I've always loved to find ways to use up every part of a piece of paper.  The One Sheet Wonder concept is one that I absolutely LOVE, not just because they look fabulous, but because it is so inexpensive and they look fabulous.  I was able to quickly and easily create these 8 cards (and still have enough to make another 3-4 cards).  I purposely did not add any additional embellishments other than a sentiment.  It would be so easy to add buttons, ribbons or any other embellishment if you wanted to add a little more pizazz.

Sarcastic Comment Mugs

Sometimes being an adult can be so hard. When getting out of bed is a feat in and of itself, drink your coffee in a cool mug to start the day off right. These sarcastic comment mugs will fend off any unwelcome morning conversation and give you time to transition from your bed to reality. They also make awesome gifts! Cut the sentiments from Pazzles Vinyl and adhere to a mug, or cut from iron-on material for pillows or t-shirts.

Locker Gift Box / Rectángulo ...

Time flies and it is time to go back to school again.  It is time to meet old and new friends and teachers. It is also time for new challenges, but the most important thing is to have fun. This year my oldest boy goes to the Middle School. There are a lot of new things. One of these things is to have his own locker, to keep his belongings safe. So I thought I would do a Locker Box to welcome him to this new adventure. I used the Drawer Box file to start my project and I have made some changes and additions to get the door.

Dads grads and babies pullout cards

Dads, Grads, and Babies Pull ...

Today's project is something totally different and fun and I hope you'll love it. Watching the recipient pull this card out of the envelope is so much fun and I can guarantee your card will be the most unique and most impressive.  I've created three versions of this card for upcoming occasions: Graduation, Father's Day, and the birth of a new baby. If the three designs I've provided don't suit you, you can use any of the images in the Craft Room Library to create your own using the same idea. Now on to assembly. I didn't include directions because they are so easy to assemble. Each piece has a matching silhouette.

InVue Project Pattern: Gift Card ...

I have found that gift cards are a simple and fail safe way to give a gift. So often I don’t know exactly what to give the person. I don’t know their size, taste in music, or how they decorate their home. In those cases, a gift card seems to make the most sense. However, I do like to personalize that gift, if possible, by giving a small item with it such as earrings or candy. I also like to make sure that the gift card is presented in a more individualized manner. That’s why these little pillow box packages are perfect for me. I can tuck the gift card in and there is enough room for a pair of earrings, a premium chocolate, or any other tiny item I come up with. This project pattern includes designs for Mom, Dad and the graduate but it is easily customized for other events as well.

Bon Voyage Suitcase Card and ...

Recently, a friend of mine asked me to make a Bon Voyage banner for her. Her daughter was heading off to New Zealand to work with a medical mission for several months. This was her first child to leave home and her only daughter. You can imagine the emotions that my friend was experiencing at that time. She was proud that her daughter was ready to leave the nest but also sad that she was ready to leave the nest.

Graduate Gift Card Holder and Box

Graduation Gift Card Holder and ...

Graduations are just around the corner, and what better way to surprise the graduate in your life than with a card and gift box all in one? This file was created using the matchbox file as a base. I added a section to the side which becomes the easel card sitting on top. I enlarged the file to cover my 12x12 mat so the card was a decent size. It also means that the box is large enough to hold a gift card or a jewelry box for example.

Pretty Birthday Card

Hi guys! It’s Belle here today sharing with you my version of Melin's PCW double square shaped with flowers card. I haven't done many cards lately so it was nice to get back into it. This card packs a punch with it's beautiful latticework and curved edges. Anyone would feel special receiving this card.

Grade School Scrapbook Layout

While talking to my friend the other day about her daughter's graduation, the following problem came up. She started to tell me that she realized she didn't have any completed scrapbooks or boards done for her daughter and she wasn't sure how she could get 18 years of books finished by the time graduation and her party arrived. She didn't know what to do. As we talked, I offered the solution of doing just one page per year with just her class photo on it. Then to make it even quicker and easier, she would just needed to come up with 12 color schemes and she could do the same basic layout throughout. She could then put them in an album for all to see or put them on boards for the party, and then when the party was done, she would have pages for a scrapbook.

Graduation Announcement

I can hardly believe my daughter will be graduating this year. Eighteen years just seemed to fly by. I got thinking about graduation announcements last week in preparation for her big debut into the world and began to put together a list of how many graduation announcements I would need to create. It added up quickly. I wanted to create a fun project, but not have it be so difficult or time consuming to make, especially if you have a large list of family and friends to invite like I do. I think this announcement card turned out perfectly. To create the tassel take several pieces of twine or ribbon about 8” long and fold them all in half. Secure around the top creating a loop. Feed another string through the loop. Poke a hole in the top of the hat and feed the string through the top of the hat. To secure it place, I used Scotch tape to make sure the strings would stay in place and hold the tassel.

Chalkboard Art Card

I just love the chalkboard look on cards. Inspired by a lovely saying that I found online, I created this note card using my Pen Tool. I created a perforated outline for the note card and then set my text in place. For my card base I used a 7" x 5" base. I used the draw tool to create two stars.

Congrats Grad Card

Hands Down Best Dad Bag

June is quite busy for some of you. Are there grads and dads that you want to honor? Pazzles can help. The Craft Room makes celebrations quick. I found several great files that help me celebrate these to special occasions. First I made some simple graduation cards. I even used the Print & Cut method to make my sentiments. For the cards I used the 2014 Photo Booth Hat and the Grad Girl files Next I made a small gift bag for a boy graduating.

Candy Bowties

Candy Filled Bow Ties for ...

My dad is a hard man to give gifts to. He really doesn't have any hobbies besides reading and attending all of his grand kids sporting events. Nothing themed ever fits the bill for his gifts. He doesn't hunt, fish, golf or do any of the other manly things fathers do. As a result he usually gets a new book or two and a treat for every major holiday. I've learned you really can't go wrong with candy. And although my dad doesn't wear bow ties either, this year he's getting his candy with a bit of style. There are two versions of today's project. The first is a simple tag to attach to a bag of candy. I've included tags sized for both the larger bags of candy and the individual sized bags.

Graduation Shrinky Dink Charms

Graduation is a wonderful time in one’s life. I thought I would make it more special by adding a little something to the basic graduation cap, and what’s more fun than charms. Inspired by the Charms video in the Building on the Basics section, I knew dangles or charms would be just the ticket. I remembered playing with shrinky dinks as a child so this craft also brought back fond memories. First I found two files in the Craft Room Graduate Photo Booth Hat and Hashtag 2014. I then used the replace by segment tool to draw a line to finish the cap and eliminate the graduate part since I just wanted a simple cap. I then used the techniques I learned in the video to make the cap and the hashtag into charms. I resized them to about to 7" for the cap and 9" for the hashtag.

Love Notes Mailbox

Here is a mailbox, just in time for Valentine's Day or as a special box to pass "Love Notes" back and forth between family members year round. It would also be great to add to a wedding table for envelopes.

Graduation Week: Three Special Gift ...

We've spent the past few days sharing ideas for money cards with you and today we are wrapping up Graduation week with a set of three gift boxes perfect for jewelry, gift cards, candy, or any small gift.

Graduation Week: Owl Money Card

I have a bit of an owl obsession right now. How can you resist those big eyes? Who better to dish out graduation cash and a little advice than a wise old owl. Tuck some money and a little note into his belly and it makes the perfect graduation gift. Leave off the mortarboard and he's perfect for other occasions as well.

Graduation Week: Wallet Money and ...

Need a clever way to display money or a gift card for your grad? This money holder wallet will be their favorite fashion accessory once it's filled with a gift card or money to spend at their favorite store. No matter how you decide to send your grad off into the world to live their dreams, I hope that a little extra spending cash from their own wallet is just the thing they need.
