5×7 DIY Congrats Card
The inspiration for this 5×7 landscape oriented card came from a gift bag my daughter received for her birthday. I created many different shapes of exclamation points for visual variety. This is a great card for letting someone you love know you are super excited for them, whether it’s for their scholastic accomplishment or their new baby.
Use the Design for Signs, Scrapbook Layouts and more
This could be made much larger by enlarging each exclamation point to fit on 12 inch by 12 inch paper to create an airport welcome home sign, too, or it could be included in a scrapbooking layout for graduation, sports accomplishments, and so on. The possibilities are many! The papers used to create this project were from the Colorbök Premium Dyed Solid-Core Cardstock pack and some single-color paint sample cards, and this would be so fun made with any of the great Digital Paper Packs from the Pazzles Craft Room, either in full or in combination with coordinating solids.
Easy to Make and Lots of Customizing Options!
This card gives a lot of bang for the buck as it can be made in about 20 minutes or less, and pops with dimensional stickers behind some of the elements. The pieces could be made from white cardstock painted with watercolors, or colored with pens, pencils, or crayons, which could be a great way to have little helpers contribute to the project adding a special touch for the recipient. This project would look amazing using black paper for the exclamation points, inlined with metallic pens or brightly colored gel pens using the Pazzles Pen Tool. 12 x 12 cardstock (Colorbök Premium Dyed Solid-Core Cardstock pack) in assorted bold colors and white
Crafter’s tape (or glue stick)
Circle dimensional foam stickers
Glue pen
