DIY Graduate Money Holder
It’s that time of year again! Graduation Day, the day all students’ hard work pays off. In this case, literally, because you are making a cap and gown money holder.
Perfectly Fits a Check, Cash, or Gift Card
Make this project for your loved one’s special day with a generous monetary gift. Whether you choose a check, cash, or gift card. This card can hold them all neatly inside.
Customize to School Colors
The project is easy to make and takes about 30 minutes to assemble once all your pieces are printed and cut. You don’t need a lot of materials and can customize the gown to your schools’ colors. When the card is open it will display “YOU DID IT! Congratulations” but you can find many other titles that would work in the Pazzles library.
Extra Special Dimensional Cap Details and Gold Foiling
My favorite part of the card is that it is three-dimensional. I love the way the cap stands out a bit and the tassel hangs off of it. I used a popular gold foiling technique to make the card look elegant. Gold foiling is fun and can be used in other projects. Gold foiling will certainly look great with other color cardstocks in case you would like to change the color of cap and gown to match school colors of graduate. And as always you can add your own personal touches. Hope you enjoy this project and share via social media and tag Pazzles.
