DIY Graduation Card and Gift
Graduation is a time to celebrate all the accomplishments you have made. For years I have been going to graduation parties. I do not like to just give money. So, for the past few years, I have made something that they will be able to use when they go off to college.
Personalize a Towel for a Practical Gift
Most kids will need a towel and if was personalized then hopefully they will not lose it. Before I head over to the Graduation party I find out when they are going to college and make a towel in those school colors. If they do not know or I cannot find out, then I just pick out something to fit their style.
Large, Simple Trifold Card
I like to make a card to go along with the towel. This card is flashing and simple to make. Plus, it’s large enough to hold a check or some cash, which every grad needs.
I like to roll the towel around some string or ribbon and attach the card to the ribbon. That way I do not have to buy a bag to put the gift in. I have asked a few of the grads how the vinyl on the towel has held up and so far, they all still have their name on it.
