Every Inspiration Will Use Different Settings

Your settings that you use may not be exactly the same as your friends but that shouldn’t worry you. There are some factors to keep in mind that can effect your settings such as the last time the blade was changed. The settings you are using might be different simply because the blade that you are using is older or newer than your friend’s blade. Cutting pressures can also change due to the humidity in your area, even down to your household. Settings can even vary slightly from machine to machine simply because not every machine is exactly the same. Keep in mind that just because the settings may not be the same, that doesn’t mean that the settings you are using are wrong, or shouldn’t work for you. Shh…don’t tell, but I’ve even labeled my Inspiration so that it doesn’t end up at someone else’s desk! Let’s just say I’m pretty partial to my cutter, we have a relationship. I know what settings work best for all the different papers that I cut, and my Inspiration continues to give me satisfactory results. So don’t get too excited when your settings may not be exactly the same as those crafting around you. The idea behind the Inspiration is to get the perfect cut—if you’ve found a setting that works best for you, but differs from others don’t let that worry you. Keep using what works best for you!
