Windows 8 and USB 3

Inspiration Stuido software is not compatible with Windows 8.  The only fix for this is to upgrade your software to Inspiration Studio Pro 2014 or the InVue software.  If you have one of these softwares please follow these steps:

You can try to download the latest driver from here http://pazzles.com/support/electronic-cutters/inspiration/

If that doesn't work then follow these steps.

1. click on your start menu
2. right click on computer
3. choose Mange
4. choose Device Manager
5. check to see if you have an unkown device
6. if it shows as Inspiration Creative Cutter then right click and update driver
7. if it is unkown device try to plug into a different port

USB 3 which is usally a blue port is not compatible with the Inspiration.  Plug your Inspiration into a different port.  If you only have USB 3 ports you can buy a USB 2 hub and connect your Inspiratoin that way
