Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the Virtual University Beginners Course.

Is there a limit on the number of attendees?

Yes, the first Beginner’s retreat will be limited to assure that we can meet the needs of all who attend.

How many teachers will there be?

The classes will be taught by Klo and Christine. Michelle will be assisting with the between class chats.

How many class sessions will there be?

There are six class sessions planned. Five of the sessions will include a complete project.

What if I cannot make it to one of the sessions?

Each session will be recorded. There will be an access code and link made available at the end of each session. You can catch up during the break if you like.

Will the recorded sessions be available after the event is over?

Yes, the recorded sessions will be available for a limited time after the event. They will be on a private site that only the paying attendees can access.

What kind of equipment will I need for the Virtual University Course?

You will need a computer, an internet connection, and your Inspiration or Pro Creative Cutter. If you want to participate in ‘show and tell’ or would like to take advantage of the teachers visually assessing any possible cutting issues, you may want to have a web cam. This is an option, not a requirement.

Will I get a list of class supplies?

A list of supplies will be emailed several weeks prior to the course. Because we are teaching students across the world, we will have projects that can be made using papers and embellishments that are available in your area.

Is there any specific supply I will need?

In our first session we ask that you have a few sheets of a medium weight smooth cardstock. We request WorldWin ColorMates cardstock or Bazzill Basics Smoothies be used. Any color is fine.

What about Pazzles tools?

You should also have a new mat, prepped and ready to use plus one or two new blades.

In addition, we will be teaching projects that include the Pazzles Pen Tool. You will still be able to learn in the class and make the project if you do not have the Pen Tool.

What are some of the things we will be learning?

What is included in the course fee?

You will receive cutting files and PDF instructions for each class  project plus additional materials that will increase your understanding of the Inspiration cutter. Each student will also receive a digital goodie bag with cutting designs and fonts that are exclusive to Course and Retreat attendees only.

Will there be door prizes?

Yes! There will be prize drawings and games throughout the Course. These will be for all attendees, both in the US and International.

Will I get a “Graduation” certificate?

You will receive a certificate of completion of the first Level of the new Pazzles Certification program. This in turn makes you eligible to take the next Course level or attend a Pazzles retreat.
