Pyramid Box

This is a very simple box to make but I think there is something so elegant about it. I know I have said it before but I think something about an unexpected shape for a box really adds something really special to the presentation. I went with just some very basic colors and textures and I really love how it turned out. Did I mention it is SO EASY TO MAKE?

Ruffles and Pleats Card

I love ruffles and pleats. They can soften a project that is too stark and add class to something that is too simple. Usually, I use fabric ruffled ribbons to add to my projects. But pretty as the ruffled and pleated fabric trims are, they can be a costly addition to my design. Recently I decided to try my hand at making my own ruffled and pleated ribbon out of paper.

Heart Top Box

Valentine's Day will soon be upon us and for you parents out there that usually means mass producing valentines for your children's classmates. We suppose you could go the easy route and get the little paper pre-printed ones and call it a day, but what's the fun in that when you have an Inspiration?!

Hershey Kiss and Rolo Candy ...

These adorable pencils are actually a cleverly disguised Rolo candy with a Hershey's Kiss tip! These are very very easy to make and so cute! You will use an entire Rolo candy for each one which usually cost about $0.60 a piece so keep that in mind when deciding on how many to make or you might end up spending quite a bit of money in candy. You still can easily make 30 of these for about $20.00 though! These also are a great idea for teachers!! I hope you enjoy this project!

Eye Love You Card

I only have eyes for...this little monster! Isn't he cute? Originally I had planned to use a large google eye for his eyeball but just didn't have the right size I needed. However, I still think he looks adorable. This is a clever and very easy valentine, I even designed the monster so he actually is only 4 pieces - very easy to assemble!

I’m Lovin’ You Fry Box

I fell in love with the mini sized fry boxes that now come in kid's meals. The little size is so cute! I saved a few from my grandkids lunch one day but had no idea what I would do with them. Then I saw yellow Twizzlers at the store and the idea for this valentine treat was born.

Three Cards

Have you seen the New Images added to our Image Library on Friday? The latest group included three cards. The Hello Card just begged to be recreated. It was so simple and yet it had so much potential! I could envision several different ways to interpret it.

Tic Tac Toe Valentine

As a mother of young children I always appreciate a valentine that doesn't include sugar. Inevitably the valentine sacks come home packed to the brim with candy. After they have made themselves sick on chocolate and conversation hearts, they actually sit down and read the messages from their friends. I thought this tic tac toe game would be a great valentine activity to extend the fun just a bit longer. Put a personalized note inside with the Xs and Os and tuck the heart shaped tab closure into place on the back.
