Heart Box

Valentine's Day is this coming Monday and if you walk in to any store you will see massive displays of pinks and reds everywhere right now. I doubt however that you will see anything quite as beautiful as these treat boxes made by Craft Room member, tarabrown. There are so many wonderful things about these boxes I am not sure where to start. First of all these boxes are absolutely beautiful. Secondly I love how tarabrown took advantage of so many Craft Room features for her project. The box patten was a craft room project that we did last Valentine's Day and I love seeing how members reinvent the projects we share. She also used some beautiful designs from our library for her project. We always have so much fun seeing members use our images in their projects! I hope this project inspires you to make your own and maybe even to take advantage of one of our features at the Craft Room you may not have known about!

Pyramid Box

This is a very simple box to make but I think there is something so elegant about it. I know I have said it before but I think something about an unexpected shape for a box really adds something really special to the presentation. I went with just some very basic colors and textures and I really love how it turned out. Did I mention it is SO EASY TO MAKE?

Heart Top Box

Valentine's Day will soon be upon us and for you parents out there that usually means mass producing valentines for your children's classmates. We suppose you could go the easy route and get the little paper pre-printed ones and call it a day, but what's the fun in that when you have an Inspiration?!

I’m Lovin’ You Fry Box

I fell in love with the mini sized fry boxes that now come in kid's meals. The little size is so cute! I saved a few from my grandkids lunch one day but had no idea what I would do with them. Then I saw yellow Twizzlers at the store and the idea for this valentine treat was born.

Elegant Pen Holder

I like making storage containers so when I got a new set of markers I decided to create this marker holder that would hold 20 markers.

Love Notes Mailbox

Here is a mailbox, just in time for Valentine's Day or as a special box to pass "Love Notes" back and forth between family members year round. It would also be great to add to a wedding table for envelopes. The file gives you two lid choices. One with a slot to just drop the note in, or solid as shown in the picture.

Treat Cups

Heart Treat Cup

This fun little cup is very quick and easy to make. You just need to fold and glue, then add a special treat. I chose to use just a solid card stock and then use twine to put the tag on.

Hanging Heart Valentine Box

Create a special box to have at home to share love notes with family members. You don't have to have it out just for Valentine's Day, rather leave it up all year and once a week/month, have a special family night to share with each other.

You Rule Teacher Chair Hanger

. On Valentine's Eve I can usually be found rummaging through my craft supplies in an attempt to create something nice for my children's teachers. It's always a last minute effort on my part, but the kids love to take something special to their teacher.

Push Pop Valentine Ideas

Push Pop Valentine

These Push Pop Valentines are quick and easy to make. Just a little bit of vinyl on the outside, fill with the item of your choice, add string and a tag and you are all done. When I decided this is what I wanted to create, I had to first find the empty containers. So I googled, "push pop containers" and found quite a few options. You can get them in large bulk up to 100, or just a few, and they are fairly inexpensive. If you want to use them, order them as soon as you can, so you aren't scrambling at the last minute. Also, be sure and check your local craft stores.

Frog Prince Box and Love ...

“Hop” to it, and create this cute froggy bug box. It’s perfect for the family, or even a classroom, and a fun way to get everybody involved. Cut out extra bugs and sentiments and leave then on the table. Even better, make extra ones that are blank and see what this cute little frog is able to “catch”. It’s bound to make a “buzz” this Valentine’s Day, and no doubt everyone will want to be in on all the fun. Make someone special "croak" with laughter! Ribbit!!

Nugget Slider Box Valentine

Valentine’s Day is so much fun!! I love making all the valentines for my kiddos classes. Of course owning a Pazzles really helps with that! Every year I get asked, “where did you find those valentines?” They are always impressed when I tell them I made them myself. Well, get ready to impress!

King of My Heart Candy ...

I sometimes have a hard time coming up with something to make for my husband, because I don't want it to be too feminine or too sporty, because my husband falls kind of in the middle of that. He is just a basic guy that doesn't want to get flowers and ribbons, and I'm more of a sports fan than he is. That is what made me think of doing this simple heart box. It is neutral enough that I think he will just love it. Of course, I picked out his favorite king size candy bars (some of my favorite too, because I'm sure he will want to share).

Christmas Front Door cut with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

Front Door Box

The front door on the front door box opens to reveal a hidden compartment and the two-side windows are also boxes so you can give your recipient a triple treat. I was thinking hot cocoa in the center, mini marshmallows in one window and candy canes in the other window box. I also think the front door box would make a wonderful treat box for a new homeowner!

Gingerbread Man Box cut with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

Gingerbread Box

This gingerbread man/woman box is just cute as can be. Though I’ve given you several choices in decorations, you can also make your own custom decorations. Maybe a heart instead of buttons. Let your children decorate the gingerbread man/woman topper how they like before gluing it onto the box top (think glitter…lots of glitter…lol) to give to a teacher or grandparent.
