Fancy Heart Frame

My first Valentine was a Garfield heart balloon and a paper bag filled with conversation hearts - a gift given to me by my 5th grade admirer on the bus ride home from school when I was in 3rd grade.

Time 4 Luv

Time 4 Luv Candy or ...

It is February so it must be "Time 4 Luv"! This adorable band can easily wrap around your favorite candies. It isn't just a band either, remove the band and put it around your wrist so you can always know what time it is...well...sort of :)! We hope you enjoy this fun project!

Eye Love You

Eye Love You Card

I only have eyes for...this little monster! Isn't he cute? Originally I had planned to use a large google eye for his eyeball but just didn't have the right size I needed. However, I still think he looks adorable. This is a clever and very easy valentine, I even designed the monster so he actually is only 4 pieces - very easy to assemble!

I’m Lovin’ You Fry Box

I fell in love with the mini sized fry boxes that now come in kid's meals. The little size is so cute! I saved a few from my grandkids lunch one day but had no idea what I would do with them. Then I saw yellow Twizzlers at the store and the idea for this valentine treat was born.

Three Cards

Have you seen the New Images added to our Image Library on Friday? The latest group included three cards. The Hello Card just begged to be recreated. It was so simple and yet it had so much potential! I could envision several different ways to interpret it.

Necklace Gift Card with Window

Heart Card with Necklace

I love the excitement around Valentine’s Day, especially in a classroom full of kids. They’re not only eager to give out their Valentine’s cards and candy, but receiving is equally as enjoyable. Those were great memories as a kid, but the best part is that those cherished memories never have to end just because we’re all grown up. This makes a great gift for coworkers at the office who could use a little loving friendship too. Personalize your washer necklace with the perfect sentiment for friends you hold near and dear.

Chocolate Robot

Got boys? This little robot Valentine is sure to please the little boys in your life. Whether they are receiving or giving it to their classmates and friends, they will be proud and excited to share this fun Valentine. It is so quick and easy to put together it is sure to delight Moms too.

Yesterday Klo shared her robot, and today we have another Valentine perfectly suited for the little boys in your life. This nice little monster comes with three separate "monster" sentiments which can be attached to the Valentine. The recipient can take off the sentiment and play with the monster finger puppet.

Pixy Stix Sundae

A sundae like this one reminds me of the dime store in town where I grew up, Hunter’s […]

Owl Card Pencil Holder

This sweet little Owl Valentine is an absolute hoot to make! He is easy to assemble so your little 'owlets' can help put the Valentines together. Perch this cute little guy on a pencil or Pixy Stix as a fun treat. He can be made for boys or girls just by changing the paper colors and background. I have included three different owl-related phrases but you can have fun with the kids by creating your own 'owl-y' sayings

Valentine Shadow Box

I love holidays, and I really love holidays that include lots of chocolate. Valentine's Day seems to revolve around chocolate, which makes it one of my favorites. It's time to start your love themed crafting in preparation of the big day

Valentine Pun Slider Cards

Valentine Slider Cards Cutting Collection

I'm a sucker for vintage valentine cards with their clever puns and adorable little characters. When I was designing this collection, I added the same funny puns to the cards in hopes that you will get a kick out of them. The base of these cards are slider cards. When you pull on the top sentiment piece, the bottom piece slides out as well. I've included full color instruction below, so you can create a whole set of these to give away.

Love Notes Mailbox

Here is a mailbox, just in time for Valentine's Day or as a special box to pass "Love Notes" back and forth between family members year round. It would also be great to add to a wedding table for envelopes. The file gives you two lid choices. One with a slot to just drop the note in, or solid as shown in the picture.

Treat Cups

Heart Treat Cup

This fun little cup is very quick and easy to make. You just need to fold and glue, then add a special treat. I chose to use just a solid card stock and then use twine to put the tag on.

Folded Heart Card

Pick a special person to be your Valentine and create this little belly band card to wrap your sentiments of love in.

Tic Tac Toe Valentine

As a mother of young children I always appreciate a valentine that doesn't include sugar. Inevitably the valentine sacks come home packed to the brim with candy. After they have made themselves sick on chocolate and conversation hearts, they actually sit down and read the messages from their friends. I thought this tic tac toe game would be a great valentine activity to extend the fun just a bit longer. Put a personalized note inside with the Xs and Os and tuck the heart shaped tab closure into place on the back.

Hanging Heart Valentine Box

Create a special box to have at home to share love notes with family members. You don't have to have it out just for Valentine's Day, rather leave it up all year and once a week/month, have a special family night to share with each other.

You Rule Teacher Chair Hanger

. On Valentine's Eve I can usually be found rummaging through my craft supplies in an attempt to create something nice for my children's teachers. It's always a last minute effort on my part, but the kids love to take something special to their teacher.

Be My Valentine Gold Dipped Heart

Gold Dipped Valentine

Have you noticed the gold trend that has invaded every aspect of home décor, clothing, jewelry and now scrapbooking. I'm seeing gold everywhere as scrapbook companies start to give sneak peaks of their new lines. A more specific version of the gold trend is gold dipped items. I've seen colorful gold dipped jewelry and decorative bottles and mugs that have been gold dipped. I thought it would be fun to create a card that translated that trend into paper.

Push Pop Valentine Ideas

Push Pop Valentine

These Push Pop Valentines are quick and easy to make. Just a little bit of vinyl on the outside, fill with the item of your choice, add string and a tag and you are all done. When I decided this is what I wanted to create, I had to first find the empty containers. So I googled, "push pop containers" and found quite a few options. You can get them in large bulk up to 100, or just a few, and they are fairly inexpensive. If you want to use them, order them as soon as you can, so you aren't scrambling at the last minute. Also, be sure and check your local craft stores.

Chocolate Kisses Valentine

Pucker up for a big Valentine kiss, chocolate kiss that is! My daughter loves the flavored straws that turn a glass of milk into a chocolate, or strawberry shake. I had a bundle on my counter for the kids after school and thought they would make a great simple valentine. Slide the straw through the slits on the chocolate kiss, attach the sentiment to the straw, and give to your special Valentine.
